However there comes a time when all good things must come to an end and the Doctor must continue on left with only memories and sorrow. Nothing had ever brought him as much sadness as the parting he had to endure with his greatest friend and foe during the Time War. But when his friend returns after years of conflict, seeking his company will he still see her as a monster? What would his rejection cost? The fate of the Earth once again is in the Doctor hands, the real question is... will he make the right choice. All Characters and affiliates belong to the BBC

This is basically a one shot, that may evolve into a fan fic. It's Mattex inspired, with them as the main characters. Basically an angst fan fic, with no fluff or happy ending. So if you don't like sad stories, don't read this. Otherwise, have fun reading!

The TARDIS lands in ancient Egypt, and River attracts the unwanted attention of the Pharaoh. Now, the Doctor and River must escape before it's too late. This is the second episode of a 16 episode Doctor Who fanfiction series called "Doctor Who: Time's Melody." The series is about the 11th Doctor and River Song. From the point-of-view of River Song, a pre-Darillium River Song bumps into two different versions of the Doctor-a young one of the eleventh regeneration, and an old one of the twelfth and final regeneration. "Him and his secrets. He'll be the death of me." River suspects the Doctor of knowing her death date, and she has a feeling that it is very, very soon.
