I don't really need to explain myself other than this is basically doomed yaoi. I've always thought Kanato and Azusa would make for a much more interesting relationship than either of them being paired with Yui. Do I think Kanato and Azusa would have a healthy relationship? No. But do I think they're a far more interesting pairing and much more entertaining to watch than a poor girl being assaulted and developing an overwhelming amount of Stockholm syndrome? Yes. Recently, I've been feeling frustrated with my other fanfic about these two because I wrote it during a time when I didn't have a good understanding of either character. It's been bothering me ever since. I also became disappointed that we never got to see how these two might interact in a relationship, so I decided to write my own interpretation of how I think they could eventually fall in love while still keeping the important canon plot points intact. I don't trust Google Docs enough to keep it stored someone might delet it , so I'm posting it here just in case.

Yui Komori lost her father Seiji Komori after a tragic accident. She felt all alone, but when Karl Heinz steps into the picture. He takes Yui to live with one of his wives Christa Sakamaki and Subaru Sakamaki. Yui then lives for the rest of her life with the Sakamaki brothers. A few years later Karl Heinz haves the Mukami brothers live with Yui and the Sakamaki brothers. However Yui learns that Seiji Komori wasn't her biological father, and discovers mysteries and truths, she joins her after birth brother Yukio and learns her past. But in a clan there is someone who is willing to take Yui and use her for evil. Yui will have to stop them before it's too late and she must choose her path for her future and her affection on Ayato Sakamaki.

... I honestly don't even know what I'm going to do with this book. Even though this is a Diabolik lovers book I'm going to put in a whole bunch of other things. Also, FYI, there might be smut in this book, and if there is there will be a lot of it. Cuz y not? Geez...I need help... Anyways, if you have any suggestions for the book or if I made any mistakes OR if you think that there is something that I can do/write better in future chapters plz let me know.
