Meerab lived in Murtasim's house, but it wasn't a home - it was a cage dressed in elegance. Every door opened with his permission, every silence ended with his voice. He didn't chain her - he didn't need to. His presence was the lock, his gaze the key she could never find. When she moved, his eyes followed. When she spoke, his tone silenced her. And when she tried to step away, his calm words pulled her right back - "You can go anywhere, Meerab. As long as it's inside my world." She realized then - she wasn't just living with him. The drug lord was addicted to the undercover agent. Meerab was hired to seduce him, but she didn't realise when she was seduced by him and became an addict herself.

On the other hand, Meerub, Despite facing her own internal struggles with abandonment and feeling undervalued in the house put aside her own battles to comfort her husband. In doing so, she showed her strength, resilience and selflessness.

Arranged marriages can be hard and confusing. 'Ranjish he Sahi' is a story of two mismatched individuals falling in love through shared pain, loss, suffering, abandonment, and more. Characters' names and arcs have been taken from the Pakistani drama Tere Bin. Other than that, any resemblance to any person living or dead is purely unintentional. Hope you'll have as much fun reading it as I do writing it! :)
