Zane Ro'Meave is the younger brother of Garroth Ro'Meave, and one of the many freshman of the new year. As a Ro'Meave, his teachers and peers have high expectations for him. But unlike his brothers, he finds no pleasure in happiness or satisfying others. He's antisocial, with only one desire: to join the Shadow Knights. Gene is the one person that Zane has found the will to care for, and he wants nothing more than to impress the senior. When their paths cross for the very first time, something new sparks inside of Gene. Emotions. Feelings. With no understanding on how to cope with these new feelings, and no knowledge on what they mean, Gene acts out in rebellious and rash ways. He's becoming desperate, desperate to understand the emotions inside of him. Zane gave him the ability to feel, the ability to care. He's growing desperate, he needs to be close to him.
