Cynestol means 'throne' in old English. Ethelbert- after being coronated King of Cantaware Rīce (the kingdom of Kent) - marries Bertha- the Christian daughter of Charibert- king of the Franks to stregthen ties with the Brits. But the monogamy always stays void of affection. Throughout their marriage, King Ethelbert goes through different paramours. The kitchen maids gossip on his escapades but don't dare mention anything to Queen Bertha. But when a paramour- Anna- gets impregnated. Ethelbert's secrets come out, and he is forced to turn Anna away with a reference so she can begin work in Urdenburgh- in east Anglia. Bertha isn't fazed, from the beginning she'd had notions about Ethelbert's paramours Eighteen years later, Bertha, hangs herself- not being able to bear Edgar's(her son) illness. With no wife and no heir to the cynestol- because Edgar is dying. Ethelbert has no choice but to send Arthur Grove- his trustee knight to find Anna's child. With malicious adversaries closing in fast, the Normans have conquered the lands in East Anglia. And are getting closer to the West, Cantaware Rīce might not be saved in time. Or will it? (A/N) Paramour means: Lover Enjoy :)

Zohra and Subhan, once childhood frenemies and cousins, have been separated by continents and years. Zohra, a spirited Desi girl from Pakistan, and Subhan, a British Pakistani with a mischievous streak, used to delight in tormenting each other whenever their families united. Now, at 22, they haven't seen each other since their teenage years. Their paths cross again when Zohra flies to Pakistan for her elder Huzaifa's wedding, and Subhan arrives for his sister Manal's nuptials. Fate throws them together on a diverted flight to Skardu, a remote and breathtakingly beautiful location. Forced to travel together by road to their final destination, Zohra and Subhan's bickering and banter reignite old flames of rivalry, only to evolve into something deeper as they journey through the mountains. When their families discover they're on the same flight, they insist on reuniting them and sending them home together. Admidst the stunning landscapes and unexpected encounters, the cousins rediscover each other, and a surprising romance begins to blossom. Complications arise, and in a surprising twist of fate, Zohra and Subhan finds themselves in an arranged nikkah before they fully understand their changing feelings. As they adjust to their new realities, they must confront their evolving emotions and the unexpected turn their relationship has taken, exploring the path from childhood antagonism to unexpected romance So hello y'all! This is the first time ever I am writing a novel. The novel would be in Roman Urdu + English, making it understandable for all communities who can speak Urdu or Hindi. I am already telling y'all that I am not that good at Urdu even though it's my native language but still, I'll try. Thankyou.
