Yalı Çapkını - The Story
Ferit Korhan is the spoiled, reckless grandson of the powerful Korhan family. He has grown up surrounded by wealth and privilege, spending his days chasing pleasure and avoiding responsibility. His relationship with Pelin, his longtime lover, is part of the carefree life he refuses to give up.
But Ferit's grandfather, Halis Ağa, has had enough. Determined to force Ferit to mature, he decides that Ferit must marry. The family travels to Gaziantep in search of a suitable bride, and Suna Şanlı, the beautiful elder daughter of a respectable family, is chosen.
Suna is prepared to become Ferit's wife, while her younger sister Seyran has completely different dreams. Seyran is intelligent, stubborn and determined to build a life beyond the restrictions placed on her by her family. She has no intention of becoming part of Ferit's world.
Then Ferit meets Seyran.
What begins as a marriage arranged around Suna unexpectedly turns into something completely different when Ferit chooses Seyran instead. Overnight, Seyran is pulled into the powerful and complicated Korhan family, leaving Suna heartbroken and Ferit's relationship with Pelin unresolved.
The marriage between Ferit and Seyran begins with neither of them truly wanting it. Ferit is still emotionally tangled with Pelin and struggles against the responsibility forced upon him, while Seyran enters the marriage feeling betrayed, trapped and determined not to surrender herself.
