بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلى الله على سيّدنا محمد وآله الطاهرين وصحبه المنتجبين وبعد. قالت هاجر : كل شيء هنا فيه معنى الانتظار... البيت مملوء برائحة "عباس"، والزوايا تشتهي أن تراه. حينما يكون "عباس" هنا، تحلُّ رائحة ترابٍ رطبٍ، رائحةٌ لا تشبه إلا نفسها. قالت هاجر: وسأنتظر بعد يومين، وشهرين، وسنتين، ودهرين آخرين. سيأتي "عباس"، ويلفُّ وجهي المتعب من الانتظار. سيلفّه بكوفية بيضاء، كوفيته البيضاء مثل قلبه، وكفّيه، ورائحته1. قالت هاجر: سأنتظره، ولن يأتي، إلا أنَّ طعم الانتظار فيه نكهة لا يعرفها إلا أهل العشق رواية هاجر تنتظر من سلسلة سادة القافلة.. مركز نون للتأليف والترجمة

Although fourteen hundred years old, the historical battle in in Karbala continues to capture the minds and hearts of millions across boundaries of language, land and time.

أَجمَل الأمهاتِ الَّتي انتْظرَت أبنها.. أجمَل الاُمهاتِ التي انْنتظرتهُ وعادَ... عادَ مُستشهدًا فبَكَت دمْمعتينِ ووردةً، ولَم تنْزوِ في ثِياب الحِدادِ.. -قَصيرةَ جدًا -الغِلاف مِن صُنعي.
