☥ Hello. I am Doctor Fate, or perhaps you know me as Kent Nelson. 

☥ I am part of the D.C. Comics "fandom" as you say. 

☥ I am a sorcerer and a servant of the Lords of Order. 

☥ I was also a founding member of the Justice Society of America, before the Justice League. I did help found the Justice League, however my role in that is not nearly as acknowledged. 

☥ After Kent Nelson passed, I took up host in Eric Strauss. 

☥ Before I was able to break-free, I was controlled by the Order God, Nabu. 

☥ My main tool, and ally, is my helmet, the Helmet of Fate, in which much of my magical power comes from, however I have learned sorcery on a personal level. 

☥ Along with my helmet, I also carry the Amulet of Anubis and the Cloak of Destiny. 

☥ These items and my personal study of magic, give me a number of magical powers such as dimensional travel, hypnosis, necromancy, immortality, teleportation, telepathy, flight, etc. 

☥ I currently am a honorary-member of the Justice League, and assist when necessary. 

☥ I help former-heros and villains alike find a new path and a new purpose.
