When was the last time you read a story about a male protagonist committing self-harm and or suicide? Men are three times more likely to commit suicide than women but about more than half of the stories that involve suicide and self-harm has a female protagonist. 

So why are there few stories of male protagonists committing suicide?

Now create the image in your mind of a broken male protagonist committing suicide. How would it have affected you to realise that the subject of males committing suicide is rarely mentioned?

Words have power; positive or not, these words can either be a comment that would forever remain in your head or a message of love sent by someone that is a stranger to you. Remember, we are always here for you and you will receive messages of love from people you may not know.
