Hi! Konnichiwa! Kamusta? 👋

I'm J.A. Lark. In other corners of the internet, I'm called Hibari Haru.

I write stories that drift between heartfelt moments, action and adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, creepy tales, and sometimes a little steamy (sometimes)... because honestly, why stay in one lane?

I also run Pengy and Kitty Books, my very tiny (and very new) indie imprint. It's a small passion project where I plan to publish stories ranging from children's books to teen fiction, fantasy, and romance. My first storybook isn't fully out yet-but I'm working on it! My work there usually blends humor, nostalgia, and a touch of everyday magic. (The steamy stories won't be under that imprint though 😆).

When I'm not writing, I'm usually sketching, making zines, or working on creative projects that connect art and people.

Basically, I just love creating worlds-on paper, on canvas, and anywhere imagination fits. ✨
