She lifted her head. "Why?" His brows furrowed. "Why what?" He asked. "Why did you do it?" He went silent and she continued. "I know why. I know what you are going to say, but I need you to say it out loud." He looked at her with an expression that somehow managed to contain affection and irritation at once. "Because it was you."
