My delight in fantasy stories began with an encounter with The Hobbit when I was six years old. It grew with The Weirdstone, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter, and many others. Now I take part in Tolkien scholarship as well as writing my fantasy series, The Gates of Inland.
