TM Lankford grew up in rural, northeast Mississippi. He earned his place among Uncle Sam's Misguided Children and finished his world tour of service with an Honorable Discharge. TM moved home to Memphis, TN for six years, where a host of great friends and story ideas sprang. Following the completion of his bachelor's degree in education, he relocated to Indianapolis. Many thousands of dollars in student debt later, TM, his husband, and their canine kiddos shifted their life and work to central Oklahoma. 

In 2018, TM picked up his creative pen after several years of academic writing. Currently, he is revising his first novel and preparing several short stories for submission.
