Agh, it’s almost finals week.

Thanks for all of the support I’ve received on this account. Despite not having posted anything on here, I’ve still received encouragement from numerous people. To be honest, I’m extremely insecure about my works, but at the same time, I take on huge projects. For instance, I have this fantasy series that I’ve been working on outlining for about 2 years. I’ve attempted to draft it numerous times, but with my currently limited skill as an author, I just can’t seem to do justice to the concept, y’know? So, I’m going to set aside that project and start up a new one (a novella). I’ve already come up with a basic plot. In two weeks or so, after finals, I’ll be ready to start drafting. My goal is to build up enough esteem to publish each chapter as I write it. It’s just really hard for me to share drafts that might be imperfect, especially growing up with a huge number of cynical siblings. But thanks for understanding. Anyways, sorry for the long, late-night rambling rant. I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m hoping to post something pretty soon.

P.S. I’ll probably wake up, reread this, and think, “Wow, I need to stop commenting stuff so late at night because my words make no sense.” Or maybe they make sense to you? I don’t know, I’m weird, English is hArd.

@anEtherealQuiet I'm so proud of you. I also find that I am a perfectionist. So I always try to post as soon as I write (of course after some proof reading) so I dont overthink. Being an aspiring author/poet is difficult - but you will get there!! Good luck and I will definitely read whatever you write on here! Xxx

My Creative Writing teacher pretty much told me today that my writing was complete garbage.

          So that was cool. :D

@anEtherealQuiet A teacher's opinion is not as absolute as they would've liked. Don't let anyone from the outside tell you what you're worth. Publish your work here for some honest feedback. Don't let shyness hold you back.

@anEtherealQuiet JK Rowling's pitch for Harry Potter was turned down 12 times. Don't let 1 persons opinion bring you down. If they're a teacher, then they should be willing to help you hone your writing skills. Nobody's work starts out perfect, and nobody's success happens over night. Chin up, and use this as fuel to prove you your teacher wrong
