what’s this ..concoction. or what my brother calls it, liquid weed

artaemas

@crnaliyre i only say small sips first because it is your first time.. granted not with it’s cousin but the tea is different, i learned that the hard way when my mother first made it for me.. and instead of taking the sips like she said, i drunk a little more than that.. and that put me in a week’s coma. but! .. with time you’ll grow accustomed to it, and instead of being taken out it simply eases your senses [as if to prove a point, raquella pours herself her own cup, drinking it all without a halt or fret. it really did get easier over the thousands of years she’s drank it and now that she perfected a craft it was nothing more than a simple drink to keep her warm and calm] every tea is different, blackwood eases the mind, whiteleaf tea builds up your immunity and ruby tea eases pain and heals the body over time.. it was used frequently in history.. hopefully, if this sapling i’m growing is healthy i may be able to make it once again

@artaemas thank you. [once given the blazing hot mug, he holds it between two hands, blowing on the steamy liquid before taking a small sip much like raquella instructed. it sizzled at his tongue and throat as he swallowed, yet it wasn’t nearly as painful as most hot beverages. he allowed the steam and the drink’s herbal fragrance to envelop his senses. he took in each and every word she said with a slow nod, proceeding to take yet another small sip once he had noticed the subtle cooling of the tea] it’s actually ..a lot better than i expected. also, what would happen if i gulped it down rather than take small sips? was that a suggestion simply because of its temperature or ..it’s strength

@crnaliyre the purpose of it is to drink. it’s healthier and doesn’t leave a smell, and can be disguised as regular tea. [she would soon retrieve the very bowl where the moon fruits was marinating in, the liquid having a light shade of magenta which will turn a shade closer to magenta once it was heated up and ready. it was a craft she’s been practicing since she was a mere apprentice, now she has lived for more than a thousand years and had only just perfect it.. if only her mother was here to see] here, [as the tea finished warming up, she’d find a simple mug, pouring the dark liquid within it] take small sips first

@kurotanei, [ there's a harsh, guttural noise that rings in her ears. eyes casted to where her back faced, urging for the evil vessel to simmer down. eyes close, but re—open to stare at sojiro. dark irises, pupils dilated as chihiro is watching ..watching ..WATCHING. until she's finally smiling, a friendly look crawling onto porcelain features. ] here. do you want an onigiri too? i have five more.
