ink replaces blood within his veins; seeping through pores when called upon and burning up as it alights with newfound power. when kiyoshi calls upon the fated ink, he may draw on whatever surface he deems usable. as long as he can imagine writing on it, he can use it. the power is typically limited to one word commands. whatever has been written, becomes reality within the duration of the letters lengths. in other words. commanding someone to "stop" is quick then to command them to "freeze". unfortunately, he can not use this to harm. However, that does not mean he is entirely defenceless.
it’s a novel ..(um, ahem), a romance novel.
* @feelingful › i don’t believe they explore the politics quite as deeply as i could have hoped. it’s the only critique i have for it, although i also wish that the prince’s convictions were clearly written in the novel. [ beau continues, staring at the front cover of the book once he closed it. ] do you enjoy romance?

I imagine it has a lot of politics then?
* @feelingful › not many do, but our libraries are full of novels which my family chooses to hide away nowadays. unlike mathematics or history, i find enjoyment in these books instead. [ a pause, blue irises shift to look at the head of notturno. ] it’s about a common girl who’s met a prince, they fall in love ..that’s all.
don’t pay any attention to them, it’s not worth it.
