@janehops        [she removes the headphones from her ears,   gently pushing them and the device itself into el’s hands]     lately,  it’s this one.   i like the entire tape,   but this song is my favorite.

            well, duh!!   [  max nods in return, leaning forward to place her hands on el's shoulders, giving them a brief shake. ]    movie is one of the sleepover highlights.  (..)   i think you should choose this time. choose a movie that sounds good to  /el/,  yknow?   we gotta get midnight snacks too!

            waffles from scratch.   is it difficult?   [at his words,  she laughed softly,  though she nodded]   maybe i will make the best waffles in the world.   but i haven't..  thought about it.

yeah—!  way better than eggos in my opinion .   but i also never made waffles from scratch before so…   first time for everything,  right?  who knows,  maybe you’ll become a waffle chef or something.    i can see you doing something big… getting out of this town,  being great at whatever you choose to do.     @janehops
