I am sixty one, single and finally finishing a novel I started twenty years ago. There will, in the end, be thirteen volumes. Unfortunately, the whole lot is handwritten, so I have to both complete writing the grand finale, whilst also typing, from the beginning, so it can be burned to disc and/or e-mailed.
