/ something that’s been on my mind since last night about halo lore..
i find it funny that there are actually more female kig-yar than males— in the lore, females can lay eggs without mating, and doing so results in another female. if they mate before laying an egg, the offspring will be male. at this point, i’m convinced most female kig-yar just can’t tolerate the males—
that’s also part of why i made vor’ka asexual. romance has never really interested her, though she wouldn’t be completely against exploring it someday. definitely not with a human.. she thinks they look a little goofy. if anyone caught her attention, it’d probably be another alien, maybe a sangheili since she oddly finds them interesting in appearance and can translate their language. i might even tie that into a dramatic backstory involving a sangheili oc, perhaps an ex she left because they constantly clashed over their religious beliefs—
