I scanned at this small photo book that my old friends gave me before I moved. I already miss them so much.. My parents haven't even finished unpacking the rest of our belongings. "Y/N come downs stairs and help us!"Yelled my mother. "Fine mom!" I closed my photo book and headed down stairs. I hated helping my mom out but I knew I had to. While my fathers sitting his ass down doing nothing. My father was always physically here but never mentally or emotionally. He gave me money or gifts instead of apologizing. - After dinner, I headed to my room and I I got ready for bed, I put on a white clay face mask while I figure out what sleeping outfit I should wear. I just decided to put on a lazy outfit, my hair was tied back, I was wearing some black shorts and a red hoodie. "Y/n come down stairs!" called my mom, "Coming!" I yelled back. as I was about to go to sleep I rushed down stairs to see what my mom wanted, "Here the neighbors brought cookies, and don't forget to decorate your room I wanna see how it ends up!" mom said as she handed me some plate of cookies, "And don't forget you have your first day to school tomorrow!" as i rushed up stairs and yelled "Okay, Thanks!" I was Absolutely not ready to meet new people. I flopped myself on my bed getting comfortable. a ding came from my phone, it was one of my friends from my old school, bethany: hey girlie, good luck on your first day! Y\N: Thanks bby, I miss you!❤️ - I was already falling asleep with my phone on my face until I heard mother come into my room and kissed me goodnight and removed my phone from my face and placed it on the counter.. THE NEXT DAY: 7:00 am, my timer on my phone went off, the day I was dreading not to wake up. I slowly got up from my bed and now I was sitting on the side of my bed not wanting to get up, until I heard a knock on my door, " levántate, it's time to get up mija!" my mother said, " i'm leaving for work, but there's food on the table don't forget to eat." "Okay, mama" I answered back, I slowly got up heading to my closet, I decided to wear a white top with faded pants showing some of my shape.

As I was brushing my teeth I checked my phone to see what time it was 7:30 "OH SHIT" i'm going to be late if I don't hurry up. I grabbed my bag, rushed downstairs and grabbed a leftover cookie and ate some of the food my mother left, I rushed out the door and locked it. My mom didn't have time to drop me off of school so I was walking to school.which sucks but I can handle it. Dad had left for work earlier so I didn't get to see him. ༒ Once I got to school, my heart was beating to fast. I could almost feel an anxiety attack kicking in. As I continued to walk toward the entrance this girl bumped into me with her bike "Oh shit sorry" she said, "It's okay" I said with a smile, "I'm Rue, Rue Bennett" She said smiling, "I'm Y/n, Y/n Y/l/n" I said politely, fuck she probably thinks im a weirdo or something. "Sup y/n, you seem new?" "yeah, I am", "that's cool welcome to a shitty school" she said with a smirk on her face. "lemme show you around" we both laughed with grins on our faces. we started walking threw the halls "these are the lockers, there boring not gonna lie but you can always decorate yours" she said honestly. we continued walking until we see a big entrance to what seems like the cafeteria or the lunch area with stairs that lead to classrooms. "This is the lunch area, foods kinda basic but you can live with it. those up the stairs are classrooms and if you seen there's also some in the halls, and on your right is the sorta Assembly Hall or indoor basketball court." she pointed towards a door "Those are the girls bathroom, which where everyone probably gets high or has sex for some fucking reason" We both laughed, "And you probably already know what's outside, and blah blah blah blah" We both grinned at each other. She seems high for some reason but she's cool. "But anyways that's it" We both sat in the lunch area "So tell me about the people here?" I said, "There's a bunch of assholes here but why not, you see that blonde girl" she pointed towards a short but really pretty blonde girl. " That's Cassie, she's pretty cool but she has her problems here and there. I think she's dating Chris Mckay, He's in college now." "And who's that next to her?" I asked politely, " That's Maddy, Maddy Perez. Everyone loves her. She's known for dating Nate. She had had a thing for him a while before he finally asked her out. But i'm guessing their not together anymore." She said with a serious face. " Oh, she seems nice" I said nicely. "I bet she sure is.. anyways what classes do you have?" I gave her a paper with all my classes in it. "Oh cool we have all the same classes together, seems like we're gonna have a shit ton of fun" she said with a smirk. while she was finishing up her apple that she took out from her bag I was already zoning out when all of a sudden I see this boy on the corner of my eye, "Who's That.." I asked her. "That's Nate, Nate Jacobs. a total asshole of you ask me. Has extremely high standards in dating girls for no fucking reason" She answered back seriously, "Well I think he's kinda cute" I grinned, "You shouldn't. You should stay far away from him" silence fell after she replied. Until the bell rang. "It's time for fucking class cmon" She told me. she tugged my arm and ran to class while we were both giggling. "Here sit next to me" we both giggled. ༒ After a few classes passed with rue it was finally lunch time. I wasn't hungry but I can tell rue was "Ugh i'm fucking hungry let's go" She said, as she tightly pulled my hand as we ran to the lunch area. We grabbed our lunches and sat on the same table we sat on in the morning "See I tell you basic food, what do you expect?" she pointed at her food, we both giggled. I realized I had forgot my bag in last period that we had, "Shit, i'll be right back i forgot my bag" I quickly said. " Okay, hurry up tho" she replied with a wink. I rushed to the classroom to find someone already in there.. It was nate, nate fucking jacobs. I was screaming in the inside. "Is that your bag?" he said. "Yes.. Yes it is" I responded. "You seem new what's your name?" He said in a serious voice. "Listen I don't really have time to talk I-" He cut me off. "I said what's your fucking name." I slowly turned around "Y/n, Y/n Y/l/n" He started to walk towards me. God he's so hot. He leans against me I could feel his hot breath against me "Don't ever respond to me like that again you got that?" He whispered in my ear. I stood in shock. I didn't know what to say so I didn't reply. Holy shit what the hell just happened.. He seemed mad at something or someone already. I quickly grabbed my bag and left the classroom. I rushed to the lunch area not sure if I should tell Rue. "What took you so long?" Rue had asked just when I sat down next to her. "Um I picked up my bag but it was open and everything fell out" I lied. But I would tell her later. "Oh okay" She replied. We continued to eat. Rue was biting her apple for lunch. I was just poking my food I wasn't hungry today. "So what's up with that one boy, Nate Jacobs?" I asked her. "There's many reasons why he's so fucked up. But there's just one that doesn't sit with me right." she replied. "So what's the reason?" i asked her. "He made a long checklist of things he liked and disliked about women, He liked tennis skirts and jean cut offs but not the kind so short you could see the pockets, he likes ballet flats and heels, He hated sneakers and dress shoes. But It was fine with sandals as long as they were worn with a fresh pedicure. He likes thigh gaps. Hated cankles, he likes tan lines. long necks. slender shoulders. he likes good posture, fruit-scented body mist, likes full lips, small noses. He likes chokers with the lacy ones with flower cutouts or delicate patterns. He hated girls who sat like boys, talked like boys, acted like boys. But there was nothing on planted earth he hated more than body hair." She said. "Oh wow" I replied in shock. " Yeah, it's a lot" She replied. "I think that was the one thing he liked about Maddie. She was basically hairless." Rue said. We both giggled of his high standards. "Um so something happened while I was getting my bag.." I told rue. "What? Spill it Y/n" she giggled. "Um well I accidentally met Nate Jacobs in the classroom."I told her. I didn't want to lie to her either. Yet idk if I should. "Well what did he say?" She replied. "Um well I had left my bag in the classroom and once I got to the room I saw him and he asked me if that was my bag and I told him yeah and he asked for my name and I said ""um I really have to go"" and he got close up on me and asked again for my name then I gave him my name." I told rue. she stood quietly like she was thinking. " I think he likes you!"she replied. "Um well I don't think so" I told her. "Well if he does just be careful Y/n" She told me truthfully. "I will I promise!"I told her. We both finished are food and the bell would ring anytime soon. Once the bell had rang rue threw me a side smirk and grabbed my wrist and pulled me all the way to class as we were running and she was pulling me she said "Run faster bitch!" with a smile. I laughed. We had math. Once we entered we sat next to each other laughing out loud. "Quiet down!" A white teacher told us as she was writing math shit on the white board. As she turned around and continued to write on the white board me and rue looked at each other. We knew what we were about to do. At the same time we stuck up the middle finger and laughed about it behind her back. The teacher seemed to ignore it but we just giggled about it. Until, I spotted a black haired girl with a blondie and a brunette. I'm guessing there Maddie and Cassie? I don't think rue ever told me about the brunette. I looked at maddie with a friendly smile and she smiled back as she sat next to her friends. Once the last bell rang I saw him. Nate entering into the classroom. He glanced at me up and down. I already had him for 2 other periods and now another?!? fuck."Okay, Attention! We have our first assignment. You're assignment is going to be in groups of 4 or 3" the teacher stated. "I will be choosing you're groups" She stated. I bumped rue on the shoulder. "rue! who's that girl with cassie and maddie?" i whispered. "oh that's Lexi, Cassies sister." she whispered back. "Okay, I have your groups here" The teacher said while holding what looks like a clip board. "Y/n Y/l/n, Cassie Howard, Nate Jacobs, and Maddie Perez." she said. FUCK. Me and rue looked at each other. "that sucks we didn't get picked together" I told rue. "It's okay, at least it's only for today!" She replied with a smile while the teacher was still calling out groups. "And lastly Rue bennett, Lexi Howard,Kat Hernandez, jacob lynn" The teacher said. A girl caught my eye she had almost white hair with two purple strands of hair. She looked at me and smiled nicely. I did the same. "I like youre Hair!" I told her. "thanks!" She replied. She was wearing a blue shirt with yellow flowers on a blue skirt with a yellow backpack. I didn't get to catch her name she had already sat with her group. I was walking toward my group. Kinda scared of what they would think of me. Cassie sat next to Maddie. It seemed like Maddie was trying to stay away from Nate. But it's not my problem so I should stay out of it. The only seat that was empty was next to Nate. No please no. Yet my body said yes. I sat next to him. "Hi, you look new what's your name" Cassie asked me. "I'm y/n y/l/n" I replied with a smile. "Hi" Cassie and Maddie said at the same time. awkwardness got between us. No one even talked. It seemed like Maddie just ignored Nate. they weren't talking. "um. Okay so let's start" I stated. all four of us had papers in our hands with math questions. " Y/n do you know this answer for number 4?" Cassie asked me, "Um yeah, it's 190" I showed her my paper with my work on it. "Okay, Thanks. Silence fell again. Nate wasn't talking nor was Maddie. Nate Didn't seem so angry as when I met him. "So Y/n why did you want to move here" Maddie spoke to me. "Oh um, I guess my parents wanted to restart. Plus I think our house is pretty." I told her. Maddie's really pretty. "Hey, um Nate?" I wanted to start a conversation with Nate. "Yeah?" He replied turning his head facing me while looking at me in the eyes. "Um are you almost done with your work?" I asked him. "No, I don't think i'm going to do it. It's due until midnight." He replied. I saw Maddie turn red. Almost with anger while I was talking to him. I ignored it. Silence fell again. ༒ The bell rang, finally school was over for today. I was going to walk with rue when all of a sudden I hear someone calling my name "Y/n" I turned around to see who it was. It was Nate. "Oh um hi Nate" I told him. "hey, do you think you can help me with the work later today?" Nate asked me. What?!? Nate really asked me for help? what- "um okay sure." I wanted to say no. But then again he's hot so whatever.
