Kim's POV
I was sat at my desk finishing off paperwork from our last case when a wave of nausea hit me.
I'd had a headache since I woke up this morning but it didn't bother me too much so I thought nothing of it. I got up and went to the locker room, being careful not to draw attention to myself because I didn't want Adam worrying and treating me like a baby.
Adams POV
Kim had been looking a little pale since we finished the case. I saw her out of the corner of my eye get up and go to the locker room.
After about 2 minutes I went to see if she was okay.
When I entered the locker room I saw her sat on the bench leaning over the trash can throwing up. I sat next to her holding her hair back and rubbing her back.
"Are you okay now?" I asked her once she finished. She just nodded weakly. I turned her head and cleaned her mouth with a tissue.
"I'm gonna go tell Voight your not well and take you home, whether you like it or not." Without waiting for a reaction from Kim I'm already up and heading to Voight's office.
After I tell him, I go back to the locker room to get Kim. "Come on, let's get you home" I say picking up her bags and walking to the car.
Once we were home I lay her in bed and sit with her, playing with her hair, until she falls asleep.
~1 hour later~
Kim's POV
I wake up in my bed and hear someone downstairs. Adam.
I notice there's a bucket by my bedside. A wave of nausea hits me and before I know it I'm leaning over the bucket throwing up again. I feel someone sit next to me and start rubbing my back with one hand, holding my hair back with the other.
Once I'd finished Adam helps me sit up and gives me a glass of water. "Do you wanna go downstairs to watch a movie and grab something to eat?" He asks. "Sure" I reply as he lifts me off the bed and carries me to the couch.
General POV
Kim and Adam go downstairs to watch a movie. Kim falls asleep halfway through the movie so Adam takes her to bed. He stays with her for another week until she's better.
