Chapter 5: The finale

It was early in the morning. They both were woken up by loud knocks. Whoever was knocking on the door was certainly angry.

The Demon opened the door and saw their fellow demons outside.

They all shouted"WHERE'S OUR MEAL, ITS BEEN AGES WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN KEEPING THAT LOWLY HUMAN!!!"

The Demon replied"Wait a few more days, trust me it will all work out."

The other demons replied with "We have heard enough of that excuse, we don't care what you think anymore we will eat tonight, If you like it or not!"

The Demon"Fine just give us a few minutes."

The other demons said" Whose us?, Are you with someone ,maybe the huuummmmannnn?"

The Demon replied"Yes a human and?"

The demons replied"We will eat that one then. " They peek inside,"This one looks tasty," they started to drool.

The Demon said "I- fine."

The demons replied "Good to hear, see you later boss."

The Demon closed the door. And gave a sigh.

"It was no use now, There is no hope anymore,it was time for her too go, but why her, I-l-love her, WHY!! Cruel world,what have I done to deserve this,I was too selfish, that's it, it has to be,I mean maybe she will taste good, I mean she would taste like heaven,sweet heaven, What am I thinking? Do I really love her? I shouldn't be thinking that way but it getting harder to resist,brain just stop working please, I don't want these thoughts make the go away!" The Demon said to himself whilst having a mental break down but couldn't cry.

The Demon woke her up. Conny yawed and gave The Demon a big hug.
She said good morning. She expected it to be like usual. Unfortunately for her,she was wrong. She didn't know today would be her last day. Her last day to see The Demon,whom she loved dearly.

Once Conny had gotten out of bed, they both went to dining hall. But Conny was not prepared for what happened next.

The demons were waiting for their feast. They had been waiting days . They gawked at Conny as she walked into the dinning room. They held their impatience in. This is the dinner they had been waiting for.

The Demon showed Conny the kitchen. Conny was surprised that there wasn't much staff and cooking utensils.

But before she could speak just one more word she was thrown in a liquid of green mixture with a couple of bubbles in it. She was gasping for air. She couldn't escape. She tried. She screamed. Nothing. Nothing at all worked. It was over for her. Her love life and also her own life. Yet she did have on regret, a phrase , she wishes she said it, it was a simple 'I love you'. She loved The Demon so much yet she couldn't say it in time. How unfortunate. At least she had a good life.

On the other hand, the cooks had carefully plucked Conny's intelligent and mouthwatering brain our of her head. The feast main dish was ready. The dish was the young girl, Conny. How deluxe it was. So scrumptious so amazing.

Yet there was one person, only one, The Demon, whom Conny loved so much, mind quickly changed to sadness to happiness in an instant. The Demon wasn't morning and had totally, completely forgot about their relationship with Conny and how The Demon had once loved her. All they could think of now was how delicious and scrumptious she was and the reason why they waited so long to eat her brain.

They couldn't wait for the next ship to come.

You know demons are quite impatience creatures, just like humans.
