Sorry guys this is my first sin story so I hope I get better with these as I go. Read at your own risk 👌

Also they just graduated high school in this story.

No one POV:

Marinette was rested at her balcony enjoying the warm summer evening, mesmerized by the orange glow painting the city. Looking at the beautiful sight was only reminding her of one thing- Adrien. It's been over a week since she's seen him last. The start of summer vacation brought relief to Marinette. She wouldn't have to make excuses for her random absences, she wouldn't have to sneak away from her best friend Alya to transform, and she wouldn't have to fight off as many akumas as usual (since there's no stressed kids in school).

The only thing that outweighed Marinette's relief was her growing sadness. She wasn't able to see her true love every day and that broke her. Would they ever even see each other again? She missed their small conversations, even if she did stutter most of the time, and she especially missed his dazzling green eyes. She couldn't take this separation any longer. She had to see him. She stood up from her sitting position on her balcony and posed for transformation.

"Marinette, you're not supposed to use Ladybug for your own needs." Tikki exclaimed from the bluenette's shoulder, already knowing where she wanted to go.

"I know Tikki, I just- I don't know how much longer I can go without seeing him. I have to see him today." Marinette practically begged for Tikki to understand. Tikki let out a thoughtful sigh and thought about how caring Marinette was. She was always putting others before herself, she deserved this.

"Alright, I trust you." The kwami responded with a small but genuine smile.

Ladybug stood on top of a building overlooking Adrien's bedroom window. She was nervous, even as Ladybug, to talk to Adrien. 'How do I go in?' 'what's my excuse for being here?' 'will he even want to see me?' So many thoughts ran through her head as she started to panic. Before her thoughts could torment her again, she saw an opening into Adrien's room. Without thinking, she yo-yo'd herself in.

To Ladybug's dismay, she had fallen into the blonde's room instead of landing like she had hoped. Her civilian personality was leaking through Ladybug's usual confidence. She tried to recover fast and as she got up, she noticed a very surprised blonde sitting on his couch in front of his t.v.

Adrien was startled when he heard a loud thud in his room and when he found his lady sprawled on the floor, it took everything he had in him not to laugh. He loved his lady but he had never seen her that clumsy, she was always confident and sure of herself.

When she finally stood up and caught his gaze, he immediately felt himself blush, just as the bluenette's blush crept up on her freckled nose and cheeks. She opened her mouth and pointed her finger upwards as she was about to say something, anything, but her words never left her mouth.

"Ladybug *clears throat*what are you doing here?" Adrien tried his best to muster out. He was nervous being in her presence without his Chat Noir personality.

"I-uh-I-me and Chat Noir do this patrol thing where we take turns watching over the city to see if there are any akuma attacks and it seems pretty calm right now so I just thought it would be nice to see a familiar face." Ladybug practically spat her words out from how fast she was talking.

"Oh." was all Adrien could let out. Excitement was coursing through his veins. He couldn't believe his lady was actually in his room. Awkwardly, he started to inch his way closer to her until they were a good distance from each other to have conversation.
