SHE TOOK ON the duties of being an adult pretty early on in her life, too quick to grow up, leaving her with almost no time to be a kid. But if she hadn't, her younger brother would have been close to if not clueless at life itself, considering that neither of their parents were ever around home.
Yet at Hogwarts she was a completely different person, she was able to shed herself of those parental roles for nine months and live freely. The Gryffindor did that for the first three years at least, but when her brother Atticus came to Hogwarts she assumed the 'mamma bear' position once more. Even as he was placed in a house quite opposite from her own, she hade sure that she was able to protect him from anything.
And one boy in her house took notice of it, a type of puppy love taking over his brain when he thought of the girl. Let's just say that James, Lily, Remus, and Sirius were all very keen on his change in behavior. Even more keen when Remus and Sirius ended up becoming professors, surprisingly not being fired from them either.
Maybe it took Remus and Sirius two years to figure out who the girl was, but once they did. Oh boy did Harry have a tough time hiding the full grown puppy love he held for the girl.
