Chapter Two - Sitting With The Weirdo

Santa P.O.V

Today I got up at my usual time and got ready for the day. My bust would arrive soon so I put on my goth makeup and goth clothes. 

I got my bag and waited for the bus. I did not see Suzie today waiting for it wondering where she was. My bus arrived and still no sight of Suzie. I had no way to contact her since I did not ask her for her number yet. She must be sick or something. I thought to myself. Or maybe even late again. My bus arrived and I slowly got into it looking back in hopes that Suzie might run in.

"Come on girl! We don't have all day!" said the Bus Driver.

"Sorry Mr. Eggman!" I said to the driver with the bald head and thick glasses. Man this man reeked of nonce vibes.

As usual the bus was full with only 2 seats left in the back with the triple seat next to Tait. I sighed and walked to the very far back where the emo was sitting. Tait seemed to notice me and got her bag off of the seat so I could sit. Even though I wanted to leave space between us I sat there regardless because that seemed kind of nice from them. 

"XD" she suddenly said a minute into the drive. 

What language is this weirdo speaking- I thought to myself.

"X...D?" I replied. 

She looked at me and smiled. She then rummaged inside her backpack and got out a can of monster. It was a pink one. Oh the pink one is my favorite.

She handed me the monster can and got out another one. I opened mine and so did Tait. Wow that was actually really nice of her. "Cheers." I said holding up the can. "Cheers." se said and we clinked our cans.

I did not know why she was being so nice to me? She usually growls at people and does the cat grab thing to everyone. 

The bus arrived and I quickly got out trying to escape the awkward tension. "thank you for the monster!" I quickly blurted out to Tait behind me and powerwalked inside the building.

I went to my locker and saw Suzie. She did not see me and I dramatically shut her locker closed.

"OH MY !! Do you want to give me a heart attack!?" she asked me clearly startled from my action.

"Where'd you get that?" she asked me.

"Where were you?? I sat next to Tait the whole time, do you know how awkward that was??" I asked her.

"Well, since I was super late yesterday my mom drove me here half an hour early. Did Tait give you the Monster?" She said.

I looked at my monster and back at Suzie.

"Well, yeah. All I said was 'XD' and she just handed me one. Maybe the emo isn't as bad as everyone says she is- 

Jeez, what am I saying it's just a Monster-" I said as the bell rang.

"What's your next class?" I asked her. 

"Well it's uh..." she said and looked at her time table.

"Chemistry with Mr. Payne" she said.

"Oh really? Me too, let's go before he gets us in trouble. He tells everything to principal Esteban, he might be a man of a few words but he will not hesitate." I told her, took her by the hand and we walked to Chemistry with a powerwalk.

We arrived just in time. Mr. Payne always takes a little longer to get to the class so we are in Luck.

Mr. Payne walked in finally.

"Must Poop 💔" He said.

"Good morning Mr. Payne." the whole class said in unison.

"Must poop. 💔" he said and put his bag onto the table.
