"Yo, Princess. I have to check on the wife. You got this", my partner, Will Johnson, asked.
I sighed in annoyance,"Of course I do Johnny boy. I always do. But, I think you might want to stay for this one. The report said it was part of the Mirror case."
"The Mirror case? Ok. I'll call my wife. I've got to see this", Johnson said. I could hear the anger in his voice.
We got in the car, and I couldn't help but ask, "Are you sure you want to do this? I know that one of her recent victims, was your daughter."
He looked at me with pained eyes. He sighed a pain filled sigh, "How is it that the youngest detective on the squad got paired up with one of the oldest", he sighed again, "In all my years I've never seen anything so gruesome."
