5:32pm, sevens house, tuesday evening.

sitting on the bottom steps of her mothers stair case, seven watched as her parents continued to fight.

her mum screamed harshly at her father, tears running down her face whilst he stood with his arms crossed and zero emotion.

"she's coming with me!" her mother screamed, reaching into her black dreads.

"I'm not letting you corrupt my daughter with them sickos in LA. she's in the middle of her school year, there is no need for her to move!" her father said, raising his voice.

seven's mum had gotten a new job in LA, causing her to move from their house in Seattle. it was a lot for seven to take in but she found herself being happy for her mums growth. yeah... she didn't particularly want to move to a different state, she didn't want to go through a stressful time settling in. but even that would be much better than living with her stupid dad.

"I don't want her anywhere near that whore! she's the reason this family fucking broke apart in the first place" her mother cursed harshly, flaring her arms about in a frantic way.

that wasn't particularly true, it was more of her fathers fault. seven hated her dad. he was a cheater, manipulator, mental abuser, the list goes on. he wasn't a nice guy. it was all about him and what he wanted. her mother slaved and sacrificed everything for him, going above and beyond to keep her marriage alive and well again. but he still found himself with many mistresses and in between many different legs.

sevens father chuckled whilst he walked closer to her mother.

"end of discussion. she's staying here. you wouldn't want me to take a trip to the court now would you?" almost immediately, her mother fell silent.

shaking her head, she walked over to seven, reaching over to cup her face. her mother scanned over her face, seeing the pain that layed in her eyes. she placed a kiss on sevens head, murmuring a silent "I love you honey" before walking up the staircase and slamming her room door shut.

seven stared at the ground after her mother's absence. she didn't like to be near her dad whatsoever.

"seven" her dad called over, making her lift her eyes slightly to make eye contact. she nodded her head in response.

"get packed, I'll send the movers around 8 in the morning so be ready. you won't be going to school tomorrow either so you will have the whole day." he spoke. seven stood up from the staircase, nodding her head again.

then there was an awkward silence. her father stared at her, moving as if he had something to say. he walked over to her, patting her on the shoulder.

"it's alright kid. it won't be any different to when you lived here alright?"

seven responded with a fake smile and a small "yeah" before turning to go into her room.

before she could make it up the stairs, her father called for her again, making her turn to face him.

"tell your mother that me and stephanie will be here to pick you up in the morning"

stephanie was the whore. she was the secretary to sevens fathers business. they messed around a few times, soon getting caught by sevens mum. after the divorce, he moved in with her.

she had two children. two boys who just so happened to go to sevens high school. she knew one of them, a boy named gabriel. seven shared the same english class with him and they ended up being friends. they were similar in many ways but so different. seven was serious about her academic life, but when it came to the weekend, she craved an adventure. she was a wild child for the last few days of the week and did everything in her power to drown herself on loud music, alcohol and drugs. gabriel wasn't much of a partygoer, but he understood sevens differences, which was why they were able to mesh so well together.

she had never met the other brother, but guessed he was probably younger and similar to gabirel.

"um..yeah sure I'll tell her" she smiled back as she watched her father give two thumbs up, and exit the house.

seven walked up the stairs into her bedroom when she jumped on her bed, burying her face in the pillows. she let out a huge sigh, running her hands over her face.

hearing her mother in the opposite room crying, she decided to go into her bathroom and run a water for a bath.

seven didn't know how to feel. she was sad that her mum had to go, but also felt kinda betrayed because she was now left with her dad. it was a weird feeling that ran across her mind, but she didn't feel like addressing her mother or anything tonight. all she wanted as a nice bath and to pack.

and that's what she did.
