The Missing Hero

Izuku Midoriya was on his way to class after sleeping in, oddly enough no one was in the dorms, not even Kaminari. Once he got to the classroom however, he saw almost everyone glaring at him, others worried, and few conflicted. Did he do something wrong?

"Uh, is everything alright guys?" He asked nervously.

"Shut it Traitor!" Kirishima yells at him, his words shocking him.

"W-What? What are you talking about?" He asked confused.

"Don't play innocent, Midoriya! We know what you did!" Ashido yelled out. What was she talking about?

"Come on! You can't seriously believe that footage at face value, right?!" Uraraka defended. "There's no way it could be him!"

"For once, she's right! I've known Deku before he learned to crawl!" Bakugou added. "If there was one thing he couldn't do, it's be a villain!"

"I agree." Todoroki replied getting me twos from Asui, Iida, and jirou.

Before things can escalate further, Nezu walked in with a worried All Might, a conflicted Aizawa, and police officers. "Izuku Midoriya, you are under arrest for stealing UA files and giving them to the League."

"W-What?!" Izuku was shocked.

Nezu showed him the footage of Izuku breaking into the records room and leaving with files on Class 1A.

"Eraserhead, capture him." Nezu said before Izuku could defend himself. Aizawa responded by using his quirk and quickly apprehending Izuku in his scarf. What happened next shocked everyone in the room.

Izuku's skin started to melt, like some kind of mud, revealing something underneath. The Officers removed the mud substance from the head only to reveal a certain blonde with messy buns and a very angry expression.

"Himiko Toga?!" Everyone yelled in surprise, this was not expected.

"Alright, ya caught me. I'm surprised it took you so long to notice." Toga gave up.

"But if you're here, then where's deku?" Uraraka ask.

"You might want to ask Handyman on that one, he's the one who hid him away so I could take his place." Toga revealed. Everyone was shocked while those who believed the footage felt guilty, they nearly sent their friend to jail with no remorse.

"We need to take her in for questioning. After that, we start a search for Izuku Midoriya, whether if it's to arrest or save him determines on her answers. If what she claims is true, then Midoriya might be Innocent." Nezu told the Officers as Aizawa escorted Toga to the van originally meant for Izuku.

"I'll get in touch with Detective Tsukauchi. With his quirk, she won't be able to lie her way out." All Might said as he started dialing thr detective's number

Nezu couldn't understand why this slipped under him. If Midoriya truely is innocent, then he not only nearly ruined UA's reputation and unintentionally tip off the real traitor that they're on to them, but he nearly broke the trust of one of his greatest students. He probably should've listened to All Might when he told him the boy was Innocent.
