The 2 snuck out the back door, just so no one else saw them sneaking out. Since Vernon was supposed to actually be working.
"Thanks for busting me out Kwan." Vernon sighed as they sat in Seungkwan's car that was still parked across the street from the studio.
"No problem." Seungkwan laughed as he pushed his sunglasses up onto his head as he shifted the car into reverse and drove out of the parking lot.
"Work today was so boring." Vernon sighed as he twisted the rings on his finger. A habit the younger picked up from Mingyu.
"Still working on the same song?" Seungkwan asked and Vernon nodded. "We haven't found the right tempo yet si Woozi is trying to sacrifice sleep in exchange for the perfect melody." Vernon nodded.
"And I swear, if I spent any longer in that studio. Woozi's sleep schedule won't be the only thing sacrificed." Vernon said which caused Seungkwan to burst out laughing.
"Well I'm glad I busted you out then. Operation Jailbreak was a success." Seungkwan said fistbumping Vernon.
"Success indeed." Vernon said as they pulled up to the Starbucks and sat down at one of the indoor tables. "The usual?" Vernon asked and Seungkawn nodded.
While Vernon went up to wait in line to order, his phone rang nearly 6 time in a row. While Seungkwan knew it was none of his business, he couldn't help it.
He flipped over Vernon's phone to see the contact read; Annoying Bossy Person at Work #1. Seungkwan couldn't help but laugh at the name.
He just let the call go to voicemail, not bothering to answer it for the other. That would be rude to do so without him knowing, it's probably private.
However when Vernon returned with their drinks, his phone rang again. And with the Spongebob Squarepants themesong, it gets pretty annoying.
"Ugh." Vernon groaned when he checked the calleras Seungkwan sighed and held out his hand for the phone. Vernon raised an eyebrow but nonetheless placed the phone in the olders hand.
"Hello you've reached Mr. Chwe's phone, I'm sorry to say he is currently unavailable and will get back to you soon. Bye-Bye." Seungkwan said ending the call.
"There that should buy us some time. And sorry but if I heard that dang ringtone one more time I would throw your phone into the toilet." Seungkwan said as Vernon laughed.
"Damn your good. You should consider being my actual manger." Vernon said as Seungkwan shook his head with a laugh. "I'm serious you actually should." Vernon said.
"Wait actually?! I can do that?" Seungkwan asked and Vernon nodded with a shurgged.
"You would be a big help with keeping me on schedule since the others get mad that I'm late to work alot." Vernon explained.
"And plus it would mean we could hang out more without having to worry about me needing to sneak out." Vernon added.
"Works for me!" Seungkwan said fistbumping Vernon.
