The Last Days with U~

Life Thru Chaos Chapter 2

It was dark, smoke was everywhere from all the fire burning. Everyone was crying in fear and trying to get away from the monster. "This is all my fault ; I should of not of made this thing", Max said in a drained tone. "You sure as hell shouldn't of! Look at all the destruction your toy did to the town and to everyone's mental health!", Max's dad screams.
                
"Leave Max alone he was doing what he loves but he didn't know it was going to be like this," Edward confronts. "I don't care about that, I care about how much money this destruction is!? " Max's Dad cries. "You money hungry bastard!! ", Edward screams, " Come on Max we should just leave this man rot here, " Edward tells Max. Max has his eyes filled with tears from his dads words. Max and Edward leave the parents and Ian and Fan came with them. They ran into the forest and found an abandoned cabin. They decide to go inside to have shelter for the night.

The next day Edward woke up and went to go get food. Edward went to a near by stream to get water and a couple of fish to make brunch. He gathered it up and went to a nest to get eggs for the food. Then he gather berries and got wood also.

After he gather everything for the food he went by the cabin and started making a fire. Then he got the fire started making omelets. Then, a half an hour later, Max woke up and  saw Edward making brunch. " Good morning Max, did you sleep well?", Edward said with a smile. Max stared at him for a moment, admiring his soft smile before catching himself and turning away. "Y-Yeah. I slept fine." " Aww I'm sorry I shouldn't of said that to your father; I'm such a failure just like my old man said"... Edward said starting tear up. " No, No, No I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry! ; I just didn't sleep well because i was playing Sneak Bandit all night!, I shouldn't take it out on you." Max rubbed the back of his head, smiling nervously as he giggled a little."

Edward lifted up a plate, already over the situation. "Foods ready!" "..Where'd you get a plate?" "The cabin, silly." Max nodded. Edward started grabbing more plates while Max woke up Ian and Fan from their slumber. Everyone started eating their omelets and drinking their water. "How is this water so clean?" Fan said in curiousness. " Well I ran away a lot when i was younger so I have everything I need to stay alive. 

"If you don't mind me asking why did you run away a lot? ", Fan asked. Everything went silent for a minute and then Edward said to Fan, " When I was young my family wasn't the best. My mother worked a lot and when she came home she always was drunk from drinking to much at work. My father didn't work and would hurt me alot and cheat on my mother. So I would run away for upon for minutes to hours to months till my family found me."

The room went silent once more and Fan said "I'm so sorry for asking now I feel bad.. " "It's fine I'm ok with talking about it now because it was so long ago, Edward said to Fan. After everyone ate and rinsed there plates in the river they went to check on the city. After 30 minutes of walking to the city they saw more fire and smoke and people's dead body's everywhere. Then in horror they saw Max's father dead with a knife plummet onto his chest.

Max, Ian, and Fan were in tears hoping there mother was okay. They start frantically trying to fine there mother except Edward. Edward went to look for food, water, and weapons for everyone. He saw a hunting market that wasn't on fire and there he found a few pistols and AK 47s, a food and water survival kit, and a medical kit. While Edward was finding things for survival, Max found his mother by an abandoned apartment building crying from the loss of her family.

"MOM!", Max screamed with tears streaming down his face. All of the mothers children hugged her. " Where did you go? I'm so sorry from how your father has been treating you for the last couple of years, " the mother said unbelievably. "We found an abandoned cabin to stay in far away from here and it's okay it's not your fault," Ian said. "I'm just glad your safe", Fan said with tears in her eyes.

Once Edward found the supplies he went to go find his friends. Once he found them he saw them hug their mother. " Hello Mrs. Moriana!, "Edward greeted. " "Hello Edward"she said. "We should probably head back to the cabin", Edward said.

  Once they got to the cabin, Max and his family went by the fire to warm up while Edward start preparing dinner.  Edward start getting the food from the survival kit he found. He picked mashed potatoes and corn from it and went to the river to get the fish. When he went to go fishing he saw in horror that the robot monster coming their way.

" EVERYONE RUN"!!, Edward screamed. Everyone from the cabin and Edward ran to the very back of the woods till they couldn't run no more. "What do we do? ", Max's mom said. " I'm not sure but we will figure it out somehow; We just need to make sure we stay away from the robot till we are prepared. ", Edward said in a sincere tone. " How about we start making weapons? ", Max asked. " Sure why not, " Edward said. After hours O f making weapons they were prepared for anything to happen.

  When everyone was making armor or stuff to put there weapons in Max and Edward went to find shelter. But then they saw something terrible.
