You let out a loud sob as you looked at the scene before you. You threw yourself to the ground, looking in absolute horror at the dead body.

You balled your fist as you stared at your little sister's dead body. There was no mistaking it- She was dead. Your innocent, fragile, happy little sister. The same little sister who called Rengoku sunshine man and Tengen Mr. Flamboyant. She was dead.

Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth, one hand resting on her chest, the other spread against the floor. She looked like she was reaching out to the sky before falling limp. Her eyes were still open, but rolled to the back of her head.

It was a horror to behold- so disgusting and saddening that you couldn't bear to look at it- yet you couldn't look away.

Your hands reached out to touch her skin. Cold.

Her skin was usually warm, her cheeks were always blushing with excitement, plus that tiny little crush she had on the mist pillar.

You sobbed, as you picked her limp body up, looking at the bloodstained home before you.

"Is everything ok?"

You heard a voice behind you; Rengoku.

"Rengoku-san..."

Your voice wavered as you tried to hold in your tears, to no avail. You turned around slowly, to reveal you sister's dead body.

"...No..."

Rengoku's jaw dropped as he stared with wide eyes, tears threatening to come out of them.

"My little ray of sunshine..."

He walked over to you slowly, his eyes fixed on her, his hand slowly raising to brush hair out of her face. He winced at how cold she was- he too knew of your sister's radiance and warmth.

"...The others had planned a surprise party at Kanao's home for you and your sister when you got back... I-"

He frowned, before pulling you and your sister into a hug, presumably to hide the tear that slipped down his cheek.

Once he let you go, your eyes were wide and empty. He looked down at you.

"Let's get to Kanao's. When we get there, we will give her a proper funeral and burial."

He put his hand on your shoulder reassuringly, before nodding and smiling sadly. You nodded back, following him slowly as he left the home.

----

"Rengoku-san! (L/N)-san! Cho-chan!"

Mitsuri ran up to you smiling brightly, her eyes shut. Once she opened her eyes though, she was horrified. Her eyes were widened, and her eyes were watery. She couldn't talk. It was terrifying. The sight of such a young, innocent soul, being torn up. She just furrowed her brows in horror and ran off to go tell the others.

----

You lay on your bed, wide awake, unable to sleep as you looked at your sister's bottom bunk. You climbed down and grabbed her blanket, taking a deep wiff of the scent it gave off. It smelled just like her. Children have such unique smells, and hers smelled like pillows and cuddles, sleep and stuffed toys.

You quietly began to sob, before removing the blanket from your face, as to not remove the scent and replace it with your own.

Your sister took after your father. Tan skin, black eyes, with black hair that slowly fades to white. She had a somewhat high pitched voice, not unbearably high, just right. She had a cute little beauty mark under her lip, much like her father as well. Her hair was messy and long, she usually had it picked up in a messy bun, with a few strands in front of her face.
