After the encounter with the dorm leader along with the vice dorm leader of Pomefiore earlier, classes for the morning have ended, and it was time for lunch.
"It's finally lunch time!" Grim cheers, excited while he drooled at the sight of the various options of food in front of him.
"Uwaah! Everything always looks so good in here!"
"It's pretty amazing that there's a buffet." (Y/N) says, just as amazed with the dining hall and the food.
"Fluffy omurice! Grilled chicken and bacon egg tarts too!!!"
"You're too loud! You're only this excited at lunch. . ." Ace trailed off with a groan as the girl turned to him with a little smile.
"He should tone it down, but I don't blame him. None of us had a buffet prepared during lunch regularly in school."
"We both already had a couple of firsts in less than a week in here," the ginger grinned.
"Yeah, we did," the non-magic user agreed as a little silence followed.
Shoot, I don't know how to continue this! What shall I say next? How do you communicate?! She thought.
"Looks like he's getting excited again." The red-eyed male pointed at Grim.
"Hey, hey, I want some grilled chicken! It's the last of it left! And omurice too! Bread with jelly too! You can just take a bunch of everything!" The monster said a line of food suggestions as the girl followed along.
Thankfully, the headmaster gave them quite a bit of madol.
Suddenly, the monster grunted as a male with silver hair and another with red hair looked at him, the two having a look of annoyance on their faces.
"Watch it!" The silver-haired male glared, "' Cause of you, the egg in my pasta broke!"
"Woah, woah, woah~! Breaking the gooey egg is the best part of eating carbonara." The red-haired male followed.
"How do you plan to pay for this?!"
It's only the first day! People are looking too! The girl thought, uncomfortable with the stares.
"Hand over that grilled chicken as your consolation, and we'll call it even." The taller male, the one which hsf silver hair, said.
"Fungah?! Hell no! This is my chicken!" The creature refused as the non-magic user stepped up.
"I'm sorry for this, I'll apologize in his place. It will not happen again," (Y/N) said. "Besides, at the very least, the egg is still edible."
"Aah? Not showing your respect to your senpai as a freshman? Come around back!" The shorter one out of the two raised his voice.
