KHOURI'S SMALL FEET brushed against her white rug that laid nicely in her living room. She'd taken the day off of work just for a mental break. Her mind had been clouded for weeks now, and everyday it only got worse. So she took that as a sign to give herself a little break.
She laid out on her couch with her body wrapped in a small heated blanket to keep her warm, being that her ceiling fan was blasting. No matter what the weather was like, Khouri would always keep her fan going.
Her black iphone 13 pro lit up indicating that someone had texted her. She reached and grabbed her phone off of her coffee table before unlocking it.
