Chapter 4

~•~ At the client's house ~•~

Lucy, Natsu, Happy and Himeko were arrived at the client's house and sitting in front of him. "My name is Kaby Melon. It's pleased to meet you." Said Kaby introduce himself. Happy and Natsu were drooled theirself when they heard Kaby's name 'Melon' which make Himeko smack their heads in annoyance. "Idiot. It's his last name. Please behaves yourselves." Scolded Himeko toward them make them nodded their head with groaned painfully. Lucy was shook her head before looking at Kaby ask him to continue.

"Well, first thing... Allow me to tell you about the job. It's pretty straight forward really, Duke had a book called Daybreak in his possession. I would like you to burn it for me." Said Kaby as he started the conversation. "No problem. Heh, I'll burn the whole place down if you want?" Said Natsu bluntly. Happy just added "He's like fire." as Himeko scowled at him. Lucy was sighed. "That's arson Natsu, may I ask why you want us to burn the book?" Said Lucy simply. "For 200,000 jewels who the heck cares." Said Natsu as he stated. "The reward had been raised to 2 million." Said Kaby which shocked Natsu and Happy.

Their eyes were bulged out of their head. "2 million?!" Yell Natsu and Happy which hurt Himeko's ear. "Damn it. How so loud of them." Mutter Himeko annoyed. Lucy had looked at him with a suspicion. She wasn't buying it since she can feel something that he hiding from them. Kaby was apologize to them that he thought they know the change of the price of their mission. Natsu and Happy were planning to split the money which ignored by Lucy but Himeko had a tick mark on her head. "I had enough of them. 💢" Growl Himeko angry which scared of Natsu and Happy.

Lucy had asked him why he raised the price which make Kaby look a little angry. "Well... As it means that much to me. That book must be destroyed no matter what the cost." Said Kaby clenching his fist which get noticed by Lucy. 'Something not right about this mission.' Thought Lucy quietly. Natsu's head caught on fire. "Oh, yeah! I'm fired up now. Let's do this, Lucy!" Said Natsu grabbing Lucy's hand which get following by Himeko and Happy. "Might as well." Said Lucy letting Natsu drag her away. Back in the mansion, Kaby had head down. "Daybreak, it must be burned. It cannot be allowed to exist any longer." Said Kaby lowly.

Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, Hinata and Itachi were sitting on the bar having their conversation. Gray was arrive at the Fairy tail guild while looking of his sister. Gray was come over Sasuke and the other. "Hey, Sasuke. Where's Lucy? I had not seen her here. Do you know where she is?" Asked Gray worry. Sasuke had caught a worry on Gray's face which he noticed that Lucy not with them. "I don't know, Gray. I had waiting her here. I thought that she will come by herself." Said Sasuke simply.

Gray was worry when he heard about what Sasuke said. "So, why she not here yet?" Said Gray lowly which Mirajane come over them. "Are you talking about Lucy?" Said Mirajane softly which make Gray look at her. "Yeah, that's right. I had worry of Lucy. She's not here yet, Mira." Said Gray with upset face. Mirajane was smile at him. "Don't worry about Lucy, Gray. She will be fine. I had heard that Natsu and Happy were going to Lucy's place." Said Mirajane which got their attention.
