Sunflower

Chapter 8

I choked on my water and he was surprised so he passed me the tissue. "Excuse me?" I asked him. "I was just curious like, you know just curious." he asked. "Well, I kinda like someone but, I won't say who." I said as I rolled the pasta on my spoon. He nodded and continued to eat his food. Thank god I didn't get caught like, it was natural. After eating, we were going to pay and we both got our cards out. "I will pay" Jungwon said. "No it's ok I will pay!!" I insisted. Right before I knew it, he paid. "You can pay next time" he smiled. I kinda turn red like, red. We called Sunghoon and Jay and we went home. When we went home we just hung out until Jay and Jungwon left. The next day, I saw 95 sunflowers in my locker with a note saying "Have a great day sweetie!!" and I just smiled. "Secret admirer sending you again?" Mina popped out suddenly and placed her arm around my shoulder. "I don't know who are you secret admirer but, I thank you everyday!" I said while smelling the flowers. "I hope he isn't spending too much money on these flowers" I said in a worried tone. "He is doing it for you so, I assume he is ok with it" Mina said and smiled. I went to class and we changed our seating arrangement. I was just waiting for my name to be called until I heard the teacher say "Park Solbi and Yang Jungwon, you two are partners so please sit down" the teacher said. Ok so I was screaming inside, ok ok ok I know I like a smart kid who wears glasses and may look like a nerd but, he has something in him that makes him so unique. I sat beside and smiled, he smiled back with his dimple smile. "Ok so x will become.." the math teacher explained while I so confused with his example. "Hey uhm, can you help me with this?" I whispered. He explained and he can be ur math teacher instead to be honest. "Thanks" I whispered. After school I went to a café with Mina to buy a drink. "Can I get a Berry Pomegranate Green Tea and you?" I asked Mina. "Oh, I want caramel macchiato" Mina told me. "And a caramel macchiato" I ordered. We studied together and went home. My house is filled with sunflowers and I feel like my house became brighter because there is sunlight and everyone is so happy these. Days past by and I get sunflowers every single day and, as days goes by I became closer with Jungwon. He helps me with homework and my guinea pigs love him. "Come one midget let's go!!" my brother called me and we went to school. As always I see sunflowers and today there were 12 sunflowers. "I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE HIM MINA!!!" I squealed and Mina just giggled. "Last day of school!!!" I yelled as I was stretching. "Im glad it's over" Jungwon said. "Yeah finally!!!" I said happily. During the break I've been hanging out with Jungwon because Mina went to Maldives with her family for the whole break. We went to different parks, cafes, and other fun places. We also went skiing in the snow and eat warm foods. On Christmas Eve Jay's family and Jungwon's family came over for dinner. After eating Jay, Jungwon, my brother and I did the popping pirate game to decide who will do the dishes. "I hope this slot will.." and POP!! The pirate popped out when I put the sword inside. "I am so scared." Jungwon trembled and POP the pirate popped out from the barrel. "AHAHAHAHAHHAHA YOU TWO ARE DOING DISHES!! GOOD LUCK!!" my brother laughed. "I will soap and you can rinse" Jungwon said. "Are you ok dealing with the leftover food?" I asked and he nodded. "UUUUUUHHHH YUCK!!" he said while I was laughing at his reaction. "STOP IT!!" he yelled. Then when my dog went through my legs I tripped on Jungwon and he caught me making us make eye contact. "Are you ok?" he asked.
