It was a starry night. I sat there, near the window- counting the stars above me. There were 25- I thought about the Christmas Day which was filled with meals and chocolate, plus family gatherings and laughter spreading across the world. I groaned, knowing I'll be sleeping in about an hour. It was a full moon- the fact that it occurs about once a month, I was pretty lucky to see the scenery with my own eyes. Emotionally upset about the stress that the last month gave me, boredom struck me- leaving my mind blank from the loss of creativity as the wind touches my face.
Hungry- I ran downstairs only to grab the keys and walk out of the lovely large building, my home. As I strolled- all the neighboring houses were filled with extravagant Christmas lights- shining brightly at such dark hour. The trees were alluring, bringing joy just by the ornaments placed on it. The beauty could not be described- only made me amazed by the celebration itself.
I rushed to the store- in my cute dark colored hoodie to grab some delicious mouth watering snacks to gaze at boring old movies to slowly sleep peacefully at. Inside, I saw a boy- more like a person surprising living near me- the Jungkook himself- appearing in my life again at a jolly Christmas Day.
He glanced at me, as he was wearing an expensive outfit for even the night to look at.
"Hi."
"Hey." His smile seen through his mask.
"Merry Christmas." Me, trying to keep the conversation going.
"You too, how's your holiday going?" He questioned.
"Great actually, pretty exhausted from the year- though the end is close- right?" Scratching the back of my head.
"Yeah... sorry for being exceedingly annoying to you, I know I'm not the greatest person you want to see right now, though I wish that you could be happy this time of year." Jungkook spoke, revealing a beautiful bunny smile, only for it to be hidden by the jet black mask.
"Thank you so much." Voice cracking, overwhelmed by the words coming from the man who has taken a huge place in my heart.
The boy took my hands, caressing them gently while taking the bag of ships that were placed in my there, rushing to the cashier he spoke:
"Let me pay, you deserve a Christmas as unique as you after all." The boy stared into my eyes, his heart warming sizeable eyes sparkling due to the glittering luminosity made my poor heart flutter.
"Thank you so much." I almost cried, holdings my tears from embarrassment.
"Anything to cheer your day." He chucked, paying the items from his wallet.
We walked out of the store, sharing our stories on this Christmas Day until we arrived at our destinations.
Guess Christmas isn't that boring like I thought, he's such a Christmas miracle - I sighed - Grabbing the keys I unlock the door, welcomed by my warm comforting house- like a soft adorable blanket on a cold body shivering night.
