as the six boys sat in a circle with presents in front of each other, they all looked at each other slowly, and nodded.
❝ chan, you go first! ❞

chan stood up, grabbing the present in front of him and walked towards seungmin, handing the gift to him. he winked and walked back to his seat.

seungmin had rolled his eyes, slowly opening the gift. felix took a quick peep before seungmin slapped him away.

taking out the gift, seungmin placed it onto his lap. ❝ it's a puppy plushie, ❞ he took out the sheet of paper and looked back at chan.

he ripped the paper and threw it at chan, ❝ no child of mine will be named after a dead man, ❞ chan pouted, looking away from him.

❝ press the paw, ❞ as he pressed the paw, his face grew red out of anger, as he listened to chan's voice. 
❝ hello, it's chan! ❞

❝ i guess i'll keep it, ❞ he mumbled after looking at chan's face, noticing a hint of nervousness, shoving it back onto his lap. he noticed the older smile slightly, which made him smile slightly as well.

❝ well here you go hyunjin, ❞ seungmin handed over a box, the older happily taking it. he immediately opened it and gasped when he saw the gift.

❝ it's a headband! i lost my other one, so thank you very much seungmin! ❞ the younger nodded, watching as hyunjin happily put it on.

hyunjin stood up, twirled, and handed felix his gift. he sat back down, and waited in excitement for the younger to open his gift.

❝ it's a~ ❞ felix held onto his last word, slowly opening the gift, teasing hyunjin. once he pulled the gift out, he put it on himself.

❝ it's a hoodie! omg it smells so nice! thank you hyunjin hyung!! ❞ felix exclaimed, hugging himself. the freckled boy looked at jisung and smirked at him.

❝ GIVE ME MY PRESENT BESTIE!! ❞ jisung yelled, already taking felix's gift. he opened it and slowly took out the gift. he smiled proudly, and pointed to his gift.

❝ new headphones! and look, they have a squirrel pattern on them! ❞ jisung happily put them back, blowing a kiss to felix, who caught it.

jisung waited, looking from chan to jeongin, he stood up and twirled quickly, then stopped in front of chan. ❝ wrong dude, ❞ then turned to jeongin.

jeongin looked at the gift shape and looked back at jisung, ❝ i wonder what it could be, ❞ he told the older sarcastically. he opened it and showed everyone his new phone case.

❝ oh is that a sticker of you? i like it, ❞ jeongin said, putting the phone case onto his phone. he looked at chan and smiled, ❝ sorry for making you wait so long channie hyung! ❞

chan laughed, shaking his head then taking the gift into his hands. ❝ it's okay jeongin, it's okay, ❞ he had reassured the younger before opening it.

he smiled at the gift, looking at it carefully. ❝ thank you jeongin, ❞ he told the younger. he stood up and unrolled the blanket, showing it off to everyone.

❝ IT HAS KANGAROOS ON IT! OMG THATS SO COOL! ❞

❝ DID YOU FORGET ABOUT US?! WE STILL MATTER BRATS! ❞ they looked at seungmin, who showed them his phone, and there they saw minho and changbin.

❝ changbin got me these sweaters for my cats! and i gave them this cute hat! look what it says! ❞ minho showed the others, right in the front, it says ❝ best dish washer! ❞

❝ get it? cause changbin always washes our dishes! i think it's super cute! ❞ changbin rolled his eyes, taking the hat and putting it on.

❝ whatever, a hat is a hat, and i will wear it! ❞ changbin told them, the others laughing at him. ❝ HEY STOP LAUGHING AT ME! ❞

they spent the rest of christmas telling stories of when they were younger, laughing, and just enjoying themselves. even if they weren't all physically together.
