"BREAKING: Young Man Found Dead Inside Home" The newscast in front of you showed in big letters. But you'd already heard enough of the story that day, and the day before.

The young man was Jung Seunghoon. He  had bright eyes and a smile that could light up the whole world. He loved everyone, everyone seemed to love him. So why would someone want to hurt him?

"Y/n..." Your coworker Hyejin murmured, sitting down next to you.

"I just want to say...Please don't blame yourself for what happened. It was out of your control."

Her soft voice felt warm as you nodded, wiping your face. You were thankful for your colleagues the last few days, bringing you food, or hepling clean, or just giving you a hug.

But at the same time, you wanted to be alone.

"Jung Y/n!" You heard your boss's voice call. You turned around to see him walking towards you.

"You should go home, y/n. I know you must feel upset and stressed."

"What about my work?"

"We'll have someone else handle it. I'm so sorry. Please go home and take care of yourself. In fact, take as long as you need." He said in a sympathetic tone. You stood up and nodded.

"Thank you, sir." You murmured as he gently smiled and walked off.

After 30 minutes of staying still, you finally turned the car off. Tears streamed down your face, leaving black smudges down your cheeks from the mascara. You agressively took a package of makeup wipes from your bag and took one out, running it over your face.

Your heart ached. Who would want to hurt Seunghoon, the man who wouldn't hurt a soul?

You breathed in and out slowly, to calm yourself. You got out of the car.

You grabbed your bag and turned to see a man coming in and out of the house across the street. He gave you a quick glance and smiled, before picking up a box and carrying it back to the house.

Not wanting to be seen by anyone else, you quickly rushed inside your home.
