It all started at the entrance exams. Vivian walked up into the school more confident than ever, although she couldn't control her quirk as much as she wished. She got out her phone to text her best friend who was also gonna be going to UA, Larissa. Vivian didn't even bother to glance up until she bumped into something, or someone. "O-oh I'm so sorry! Didn't see you there" she apologized, looking up to see a boy not that much taller than her, with emerald green hair and eyes to match, he smiled at her "don't worry about it! Are you hurt?" He asked, Vivian blushed from embarrassment and shook her head 'no', he smiled again "that's good, my names Izuku Midoriya"  "Vivian Nguyen, nice to meet you too", the two nodded their heads and went separate ways, both still entering the school and into the theater where the teachers were going to explain the exam to the students.

Vivian entered the theater to see no one she recognized, except for one person that is. That girl pushed her dark purple glasses up and waved at Vivian, who waved back and walked over to join her "hey Lari!"  "Sup Viv, what took you so long?" Larissa asked, causing Vivian to hide her face slightly. "What you're already crushing??" She laughed, playfully elbowing Vivians arm "hey I'd bet you would too!" Vivian responded, looking around for the broccoli boy out of curiousity. Eventually she did notice him closer to the stage and smiled to herself. She pointed to him and said, "him, right there Lari!" Larissa perked up a little and looked to where she was pointing, at the green haired boy who was still facing toward the stage. Larissa giggled just as one of the pro heroes walked onto the stage "hello hello hello heroes in training!! The names Present Mic! Let's get this ball rollin'!!" He laughed to himself, expecting some sort of cheer. Silence. He face palmed then started explaining the rules of the exam and what was basically going to happen. Seemed simple to Vivian as she was nodding as a response.

(Vivian's pov)
After what seemed like maybe a minute we were all standing up and following Present Mic to the areas. The first half of the group, which included me and Larissa, went to one half and the other half went to the other side. We were both smiling and high fived each other "just tell me their movements Viv I'll handle the attacks!"  "Yeah but I need some too or else I won't get in"  "oh yeah sorry true, we'll help each other out" we smiled at each other again. My quirk isn't the most useful since I can't control it just yet, but basically it's mind reading. Larissa's is similar being telekinesis but we both don't know if there's a weakness cuz she never goes over what she's comfortable with. The siren, without much warning, goes off and we all go our separate ways while me and Larissa stick together. We quickly find a staircase and run up it to get a better view from the top of a building "there's a few enemies I can see.." I thought aloud, Larissa nodded then ran ahead with me following suit. "Got anything yet from this thing??"  "Nothing, it's a machine I only get it's damn coding" she sighed, looking like she was at a loss. The two of us kept running toward it and jumped on it's back, a blind spot seemingly. "NOW DIE!" We yelled in unison as I threw punches and scrapped it's metal and Larissa somehow got a large metal pipe, a lamppost, and slammed it into the machine, making it malfunction and turn off in the process. We got off and onto a roof in time before Larissa groaned in pain "I-I over did it..." she said before fainting. In what seemed like a millisecond a guy with short, well taken care of, blue hair and glasses that looked similar to Larissa's caught her "you two alright over here?" He asked, looking over to me "oh uh.. yeah we're alright, she just... um, overused her quirk" I responded, he nodded and set her on the ledge "the name's Tenya Ilda, this felt rude without introducing myself  "Vivian Nguyen, nice to meet you too" the boy sped off as if he were never here.

~Timeskip because why not~ ~months later~

I woke up one day to a letter on my kitchen table, I quickly grabbed it and opened it, almost screaming after I read it. I immediately called Larissa "sup Viv?"  "I got in UA!!!"  "ACTUALLY?! I DID TOO!" We both were practically yelling into our phones from excitement, we both got somewhat hurt from that exam. Got a good few cuts and bruises that more than likely I'll keep in the form of scars, and Larissa found out she gets 'disgustingly bad headaches' as she says when she overuses her quirk to the point of passing out, possibly worse I'm not sure. That entire day we were on the phone talking and checking when school started, which happened to be tomorrow. "So, the green haired kid" Larissa laughed, causing a blush to show on my face "for one, his names Midoriya. Second, shuusshh"  "oh sorry sorry, so Midoriya" we laughed together, not realizing how late it was until her parents came in and told us the time. We both said goodnight and went to bed, thought it took longer for me from the excitement.

~at school cuz authors not wanting to write about the morning lol oh and timeskip~ ~few days later~

At this point I've gotten used to everyone and everything, dorms are a little weird still but they're nice. I even made some more friends in our class, everyone in what 1-A calls the Bakusquad; Bakugo, Kirishima, Denki, Sero, and Mina. Larissa's even started liking Denki so we both joke with each other over our crushes. After school me and Larissa were walking to our separate dorms, chatting as usual when Denki jumped in front of us behind one of the walls, Larissa nearly fell on the floor from the surprise and we were both laughing "dude don't scare me like that!" She exclaimed while we were trying to catch our breathe "o-ok ok seriously, got somethin' to tell Vivian here" he said, still giggling, his face was more red than mine from the laughter. We finally caught our breathe "Midoriya was too nervous to ask you but he's wondering if you wanna go out with him?" Denki asked, Larissa smiled, probably knowing where this was going, I went red again as I nodded "y-yeah sure" I responded, he smiled and ran off towards the boys dorms. We looked at each other and continued walking to our dorms, saying goodbye as we got there.

Later that night just as I was about to go to bed I heard a knock at the door "who the hell?" I asked aloud, opening the door. The recognizable green haired boy was standing at my door "h-hey third times the charm" he awkwardly laughed "you looked in two other dorms?"  "Yeah, but found you" I smiled "so, this weekend?"  "Sounds good to me" he responded, I nodded. We stood there in slight awkwardness before he spoke again "I know this normally happens on a date but.. c-can I kiss you?" I was surprised, it took me a minute before figuring out what he actually asked me "a-alright" I responded, he leaned his head down a little and planted a kiss on my lips, quickly backing away "see you later" he smiled, running off with his face bright red "see you later Midoriya" I laughed to myself, closing the door behind me.
