{ Loyalty }

You walked across the glistening white snow, the light reflected off of it could blind ones eyes.
   The sounds of the snow crunching beneath your feet had always been satisfying to you. Snezhnaya was always beautiful, but also deadly. Even through the snow, You always enjoyed prancing and dancing.   
You found it rather entertaining to watch the snow be disturbed, fly up into the air as it glistened in the sunlight. Almost like a pile of wet leaves.
   As you walked across the snow, you saw the edge of a cliff. You stared at it for awhile, a blank expression creeping into your face, before casually sitting at the cliffs edge, swinging your feet carelessly. It hadn't been your first time doing this, you'd done this multiple times.

Besides, you had no family, no friends, no one who knew you existed.

Would anyone really even notice if you disappeared?

   You chuckled to yourself. You swatted the air shooing the thoughts away. Your eyes grew dark as you stared at the bottom of the cliff. Ignoring the magestic Snezhnaya scenery you had always admired.
   You slowly closed your eyes and took a deep breath inwards, inhaling the sweet scent of flowers. You lifted your face back up to stare at the clouds. Gazing at the clear and wonderful atmosphere. You were watching the birds fly free, and the many animal shaped clouds float past you.

   After a bit, you began to stand up, attempting to return back to your house. A sudden gust of wind caught you off guard. You misplaced your foot and slipped.

...!!!

     You slowly started to fall down the cliff, sighing at your stupidity. Your hair flew violently as the winds behaved like knifes against your skin. Pointing to the earth like a spear, You felt like your skin was being cut as the winds blew forcefully. The air became harsher as you neared the ground. You prayed to the archons that your death would be quick.
Just as you braced for impact, you felt a strong pair of arms catch your fall. Your lunges scrambled to inhale air, trying to restore the oxygen you had lost while plunging to the earth at such high speeds.
Your nose smelled a familiar scent.

   As you slowly opened your eyes, you saw the handsome pouting face of a ginger haired man. His glistening blue eyes stared at you with concern and a hint of anger.

Ah... You almost forgot about him.

"Y/N! How could you do such a thing" the familiar voice pouted as he slowly set you down onto the grass.
Your voice shook as your head was dizzy from having the wind being knocked out of you.
"I didn't do it on purpose this time" you mumbled, barely able to speak properly as your head began to spin. You clenched your head in dizzyness, his strong pair of arms now wrapped around you.

   He then proceeded to rest his head on your right shoulder. This snapped you back into reality as your dizzyness began to calm down.
"You aren't ever allowed to do that again" he mumbled.
You shivered as his breath tingled your neck. You lifted one of your hands to pat his head. He grumbled some more, as you sighed.
"I didn't do it on purpose this time. I swear. I got knocked off by the wind" you chuckled a bit. Your eyes once more darkened as your gaze drifted to the earth, the one that was supposed to strip life away from you.

   He noticed this and quickly squeezed you tighter. A very effective attempt to comfort you, and you both knew it. You smiled to yourself as you felt his warmth. The dark thoughts seemingly fading away to his touch. Even so, one specific thought crossed your mind. The one that even he wasn't able to chase away with his best efforts.
