Five days to go until Christmas. I may be fifteen, but I can still get excited over Christmas, right? So many of my friends have gone away for the holidays, including my best friend, Isobel Thompson, but then there’s me, staying here in Canberra for the whole holidays. I’m so bored, I have nothing to do except for go on Facebook or Twitter or Tumblr. My friends, as I said before, are either away or just don’t want me around, which I can understand, what with it nearly being Christmas and all, they probably want to spend time with their families. Isobel and I talk all the time on Facebook and share a joint account on Tumblr, but I still miss her. My older sister, Madison, is always going out with her friends cause she’s “much older” than me and she’s “more responsible and trustworthy”. She’s only eighteen months older than me, not much, right? Anyway, Isobel will be back soonish and then I doubt we’ll not be together all the time. Year nine is finally over along with all the problems that come with it. Boys. Especially boys. It’s not like they really pay that much attention to me though, but when they do, things can get ugly. I fall for all the wrong guys and always end up nursing a broken heart after I find out they’ve just been using me to get to my friends or even my sister! These holidays, I’m hoping for something to change. Maybe meet a guy, or, hopefully, get a career in acting. I got an A+ in Drama this year and am hoping that will get me somewhere… maybe.
The boys and I have gone out to do our last minute Christmas shopping. You could say we're a bit disorganised, with only five days to go until Christmas, we're only just starting our shopping. We've been here for the past five hours and I've finished all my shopping. I'm waiting for the boys to come and meet me where we agreed to wait when we finished. I look around and see Liam heading towards me, weighed down with a lot of shopping bags. Five minutes later, Harry and Louis join us, the last one to appear is Zayn. Once we're all here, we head down to the carpark and all climb in to Harry's car. Me and the lads get a short break for Christmas and I am really excited to see what I get for Christmas from them and my parents and brother. I notice that all four of the guys keep looking at me with cheeky looks on their faces. I wonder what they're up to? In all honesty, I'm hoping something will happen this holidays, you know, like maybe I'll meet my princess, someone who I can call mine forever. Call me naïve, but that's what I really want this Christmas. Maybe, if I'm lucky, it will. Here's hoping.
