Sometimes you can’t put a price on the good and the bad people, Sometimes you just have to take them for who they really are.
I am reading my favorite book. It’s called
“Lavender is my favorite.”
I know, it doesn’t sound appealing, or have anything to do with it at all, but you’re wrong..
I don’t think its cliché, I think it’s perfect, but that’s my opinion.
My mom came into the room asking me what I was doing.
I answered, “Reading my favorite book.”
She nodded, and before she left, she told me foods on the table.
I threw my book on the bed, and ran down stairs.
I’m starving.
I see mac and cheese.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
I go to the kitchen to get my drink before I sit down and eat.
I turn to the table and I see fried chicken too,
Am I in heaven?
When I sat down to get my share and take a bite.
Out of nowhere a spider fell in my food.
MY FOOD…
Then my brother, He screamed and ran towards the stairs.
My mom just stood up and calmly walked away, rubbing her forearms.
My dad did the same.
“What the…” I murmured.
My dad did grabbed his phone, and called the exterminator.
I had also stood up.
Then a roach passed by me.
OH FUCK NO
“AHHHHHH! OH MY GODNESS GRACIOUS. IMMA DIE TODAY! YEP I’M DONE FOR. GOODBYE WORLD!"
“Leann, Shut up!” My mom said.
Whatever.
“FINE JUST LET ME DIE.”
My brother shouted “Shut Up!”
That’s when my dad gets pissed, and mouths,
“BE QUIET.”
He was still on the phone talking to the exterminator.
“Yeah? Hmmm… okay.”
He ended the call.
“So…?’ I asked from the stairs.
“We have to move. Everybody get your stuff. Let’s go.”
My mom said, “What? What are you talking about?”
If it doesn’t cross her, it doesn’t cross us.
“I’ll explain later, alright? Now we just need to get our stuff,” He told her.
She slapped him playfully. Then she laughed.
“Tell. Me. Now.” she demanded
He sighed, “Fine. We have to move. The insects have been piling for years. Its going to blow."
“Impossible," She said.
“Ok, I don’t know about you guys, but I'm just going to go ahead and save myself,"
I ran upstairs to my room and grabbed my suitcase.
I need to bring my necessities.
“Okay so I bring everything, “I talked to myself.
My mom came in and said “I thought you might need another suitcase.”
“What made you think that?” I said as I sat on my suitcase, when it wasn’t even near being closed. She rolled her eyes as me. I hopped off the suitcase, and she put some stuff in the other suitcase.
“I told the movers to make sure to get your things, like your TV and wardrobe."“Ok.”
She left me in the room. I felt like I was forgetting something.
I have my phone, my charger…
“LAVENDER IS MY FAVORITE!” I shouted.
I checked under the bed and there it was.
Right next to a roach…
You’re kidding me.
“I hate this," I whispered to myself.
I slide it closer to me. The roach just flinched.
I kept sliding it closer and closer.
I got it! I put hand sanitizer all over it.
“Eww,” I murmured
“Leann, WE’RE LEAVING NOW!”
“OK!” I grabbed both of my suitcases and walked down the stairs.
“I’m ready.”
“So am I,” my brother said.
“You just ruined my moment," I told him.
“Good.”
"Idiot," I mumbled.
