Road to a legend

Smith was a boy who just moved to China with his mother. His father passed away when smith was a baby so his mother raised him up .Smith was a boy who did not understand or even know how to speak in  chinese.

It was the first day of school, Smith walked into the school,hoping to meet some friends. Time flies and soon achool ended. Smith trudged hime after a tiring day of school. Then something caught Smith's attention. A skateboard park.The skateboard park was directly opposite Smith's house.Smith quickly tip toed out of his house not wanting his mother to find out then Smith quickly ran to the skateboard park with his skateboard. Down there smith managed to make some new friends and had lots of fun. Suddenly a bunch of boys walked towards a girl who was practising violin then the bunch of boys took the girl's notes and threw it on the ground. Upon seeing that,Smith immediately stepped up and defended the girl. The the bunch of boys gathered around him and beated him up.Just then, a middle aged man immediately pushed the boys away and helped Smith up then the man asked the bunch of boys to go back home but they didnt want to and tried to beat the middle aged man up but the man stopped them and asked them to go back home.Then they immediately ran back home. The middle aged man helped Smith up and brought him to his house. Smith begged the old man to teach him kung fu so that he could fight with them in the Annual kung fu competitionto prove them wrong .But the middle aged man disagreed and asked Smith to go home. Smith then walked home disappointingly.

A few days later, the middle aged man went to find Smith and agreed to teach him kung fu. Smith was elated and promised the old man that he would be diligent and persevere.

Days later the tough days begun. Everyday after school Smith needed to attend the tough trainings. Smith worked really hard for weeks and practiced diligently sometimes even when it rains Smith would still continue training. But months of hardwork paid off.

Its was the day of the competition there were many people from many schools participating in the competition soon it was Smith's turn. It was a tough fight but Smith still managed to do it. Smith fought his way to the semi finals.

It was the semi finals. Smith was fighting against a very strong competitor. At first it went well but suddenly something happened...

When Smith attempted to kick the competitor, the opponent held on to her  right leg and hit it really hard then the opponent was immediately disqualified from the competition. Smith's leg was bleeding,blood trickled out from her wound. He was immediately brought to the backstage and the doctor attended to her wounds the doctor told Smith and his coach that he could not carry on with the fight anymore. Then her coach told him to stop the fight but Smith was persistent and did not want to give up. His coach tried to persuade him to stop but he did not want to and was persistent to carry on.

As Smith walked up the stage, the crowd cheered wildly at him. Smith was in the finals and him opponent was the boy who always bullied him in school so Smith was determined to defeat him. At first, the opponent kept on kicking and boxing him but yet he was unable to fight back but as time went by, the opponent was getting tired and Smith immediately hit his opponent with a hard punch and his opponent was not able to get back up.

Smith was crowned the champion! Everyone cheered wildly and Smith was happy and proud of himself for proving the boy wrong and he was also happy that he was the champion.
