A New Begining

* Noodle's POV *

I awoke to the noise of screeching from Murdoc's bass playing in the middle of the night, I slowly rolled over in agony as I squinted at the dim light coming from my phone.

It read 4:00 am.

I grunted angrily at the thought of trying to fall back to sleep, so I slowly but surely got to my feet and walked to my door and lightly swung it opened and looked down the two light hallways.

"Murdoc-san! For christ's sake it's four something in the morning! Some people like to get sleep at night!" I yelped down the right hallway, leading to the stairway down to the kitchen.

I saw 2D glance down the narrow hallway and smile his cute toothless little grin as he saw me.

"Oh aye! Look who's up!" He said softly as he shuffled towards me, "I need tah talk to you, Noods..".

2D walked passed me and into my room, I sighed, "2D, I just woke up. I can't focus on anything right now.. " I was stopped by 2D holding my head to his chest.

"Noodle, yah do know how well you've grown threw these years we've been together right? I know I may seem as a father figure, but I've been having these feelins, i've been finkin about you a lot and- ", 2D paused and looked down to me and blushed hard.

"I want tah see you more often.. I really miss yah.." He whispered softly into my ear.

I shivered a bit, but just as my senses came to me, I held 2D tight in my arms. I had just realized he was like the big brother I never had, but I too had been having unfamiliar thoughts about him I've never had before.

"2D-san.. I feel the same way.. " I smiled and buried my head into his fragile chest, forgetting my emotions before and all of my sorrow was slowly fading away.

Until I heard my alarm ringing.

Shooting up from my bed, I looked over to my left hearing my clock buzzing and ringing loudly, but as I looked to my right, I saw 2D laying almost lifelessly on my bed sound asleep.
