Maryam pov:
I was at school in my first lesson and it wasn't like the same after we heard the news about Arbi's death. I sat next to Siva, wasnt much talking. The news hit her more than any of us. Idek how she is still at school after it all. She was the first to know and its just weird to think how the guy is gone. I looked behind me at Arbi and as usual he looked depressed but there was just more to it now. It's weird to explain but i wish there was something i could do to him. I took up my note book and wrote on it "R u okay?" ripped it off the page and gave it to him. I looked at him and his eyes were blank. Like there was nothing to even do. I looked at Siva and she had the same face. The bell rang and i took my time to talk to her. "Siva wait, are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?" I said trying to sound calm as possible to not make her uncomfortable. "Idek at this point. First he's there, we're talking, and next thing i find him dead" She said and her voice was shaky at the end of the sentence. Her eyes started to tear up. I went in for a hug and she just cried on my shoulder. As i was hugging her i looked over at Arbi. He was sitting there all alone just with this blank stare. There was no emotion to it either. "Siva if u need anything please talk to me okay?" I said as we loosed up the hug. She nodded and walked away and i went over to Arbi. I sat down next to him and he didnt even look my way. "Arbi are you fr okay? Talk to me" I said and he didnt say anything. Nothing was coming out from him, not even a little noise. He just nodded and that was it. I friendly slapped him on the back tried to make him in a good mood. "Hey, its okay Arbi. Think about positive not the negative" I said and just looked over at him hoping for an answer from him. He looked at me and then looked down again. "How u expect me to be happy about this? Arbik is literally dead" He said and damn he sounds so hurt. Of course he is but like really really hurt. I just needed a way for him to cheer up, but the bell rang so i didnt have any time for that. I went over to my seat and the teacher came in. "Hello students, we have no time for class now, Maryam i need you to come with me" The teacher said and looked like he was in a hurry. I just stood up and walked out with him over to a room with the detective. "Hello Maryam, do you mind sitting down?" He said and looked at me. I went over to the chair and sat down. There were documents and papers everywhere. In front of him was my document. "Is that my documents?" I said and looked at him looking like a question mark. "Yes they are, but we have got this information that you were last seen with Arbi near the swimming pool. Can you confirm this?" He said. "I cant say i wasn't with him there, but it was just to talk. Then i walked out and he was going to get something and after that i didnt see him after" I said and looked over at them hoping this was trustworthy. I saw someone walk in after me but i cant remember who. "Is this it? Can i go?" I said and i was hoping he would let me lieave. "Yes u can go, bring me in Siva, but first of all what do you know about their relationship?" He said and looked down at her or my papers. "Uhm only that he was a bit rough, good bf but could curse or sometimes be a bit abusive" I said and damn i regret sayinf this so much rn. "Bring in Siva if u dont mind" He said and i walked straight out and to the class
