The next couple of months of my pregnancy have been, well, interesting.

I took up Dumbledors offer and moved into my new room. It was fairly large and empty aside from the enormous bed smacked down in the middle of the squarish room and the construction of a nursery in the corner. The floors were cold and gritty, and my only light came from a slit between the sagging curtains at the window.

I bought some furniture during my trip to Diagon Alley to spice things up and managed to turn the dim and cave-like room warm and cozy.

The door to my room was easily accessible but hidden in a way only people who knew the exact location could notice it.

There were a couple of portraits scattered here and there on the grey stone walls. It made me slightly uncomfortable because of the enchantment that was placed on them, allowing them to move and be lively. Every once in a while, I would catch them gossiping about me to one another, which made me furious.

Over the months, Ron had become ridiculously over-protective of me and our baby. He was always with me, practically moving into my bedroom. Every five seconds, he would ask if I needed anything or if I was okay.

One morning, I accidentally toppled off my bed, and Ron nearly had a heart attack. It took me just about an hour to calm him down.

He had sacrificed his studies to watch over me. Ron used to get at least 80s in most of his classes, contradictory to what you might think. But now, his grades had dropped to as low as 50%. He had become more stressed than I was.

I tried everything to try and get him to relax, and I mean everything. But he just couldn't. Ron barely slept, and when he did, it was only for an hour or two. One time, I was playing with his hair in an attempt to calm him down, and just about a chunk of his fluffy, ginger hair fell out on my hand.

Harry, Hermione, and Ginny would often stop by to help me with my school work or hang out. But we were usually interrupted by Toppy. It seemed to be doing everything in his power to make my life miserable.

Toppy would either try to butt-in during our conversations, trying to kick them out or, it would lean over one of our shoulders and stare at us, listening to our conversations, making it awkward.

I tried not to think much of it, but I couldn't help but raise my suspicions.

We have finally arrived at the first day of springtime. Today was one of those beautiful spring days with a little hint of coldness.

I was on my daily morning stroll with Ron. I wore my new black spring jacket, Hermione had got me, considering I had sized up tremendously and non of my old clothes fit. Ron and I were hand in hand, walking around the Hogwarts gardens behind the castle.

I couldn't walk as far as I use to, with my legs getting tired so quickly. The weight on my stomach had taken an extreme toll on my body. We walked down to the edge of the lake surrounding Hogwarts and set up a little picnic.

"Here," Ron said as he helped me sit down.

The grass was slightly damp from yesterday's rainfall, but I could bear it.

I noticed that Ron's body was stiff as he took a bite of his sandwich, probably stressing himself out again.

It hurt me seeing him like this. He hadn't spoken to his mother in a long time, and people were giving him so much shit at school.
