31 Days {L.S}

chapter 14

I've been waiting for this day all week. Harry told me that The fault in our stars would be playing tonight and I insisted that we HAD to go. Harry said that he hadn't originally planned to to the outdoor cinema again but I really wanted to go see the movie.

I've seen this movie over a hundred times and I fall more and more in love with it every time. 

I'm sitting in the middle of Harry's bed as I watch him run around his room trying to catch his little guinea pig.

"The book was AMAZING, John Green is such a beautiful writer" I tell Harry as he continues to run after the fluffy animal.

"I've never seen it before- HEY SUPERMAN STOP RUNNING FROM ME MAN" Harry says annoyed. Giving up and joining me on the bed. He places his head in my lap and hangs his long legs off the side. He looks up at me and I thread my fingers though his hair.

Harry told me that his name is superman because apparently his slicked back black stripe reminded Niall of superman. I don't question it. Niall does have a very wild imagination.

I continue to tell Harry about the book without giving any major spoilers. Harry slowly sits up and dashes across the room as Superman stills at the corner of his desk. Just as Harry reaches him the guinea sprints off and runs away from Harry.

"Ugh I give up, I'll just lock the door so he can't get out, we need to leave or we'll be late" Harry says and grabs my hand to help me off the bed. 

 "Okay?" I emphasise the word to see if Harry reacts.

"What?" he responds and I laugh. Harry Locks the door behind us and follows me.

"It'll make sense after the movie , come on, we can't be late" I walk down the stairs and say bye to Anne before we both head to the car. I remind Harry to get the box on the counter before walking out. Anne made us some more of those chocolate covered pretzels and I absolutely adore them.

" You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and for that I'm eternally grateful." I whisper as I recite Hazel's words. I feel Harry shift beside me, his hands skim under his eyes as he wiped away the stray tears. A heavy lump forms in my throat at the sight

"I knew you said it was sad, but I didn't know it was this sad" Harry's voice wavers as he takes a deep breathe through his nose.

I giggle and wrap Harry into my arms. "Awww don't cry bub" I rub his head and he leans into me curling up under my chin.

Harry sighs and sits up after wiping his eyes."I just wish they could be together forever y'know, some people are meant to be together forever, as cheesy as that sounds" Harry adds as he cringes at his own words.

"Yeah I understand" I whisper as I turn to focus back on the movie, Harry and I remain hand in hand until the credits rolls through. 

Harry gets up quickly "Glad that's over, I don't think I have any more tears left to cry"  I laugh and begin to fold up the blanket placing it on my lap as we drive back.

I sit quietly smiling as I look out the window at the blurry houses that we pass. I'm over the moon that Harry likes my favourite movie, Now I just need to convince him to come with me to watch Twilight.
