A warm breeze flickered through the Alfea courtyard as the Winx gathered, their hearts full with love as they saw the Specialists. But this night something was different. The Specialist stood before them with heavy and sorrow expressions, their eyes shadowed with uncertainty."We have to go," Sky said his voice struck with emotion. "There's a mission that requires us to leave the Magic Dimension. It's classified, and dangerous... and we don't know when or if we're coming back."
No one said anything, his words hung in the air like an unspoken tragedy.
"No," Bloom whispered, her fiery determination sparked into disbelief. "There has to be another way. We've faced different kinds of danger together. Why is this time so different?"
Brandon looked at Stella, hands clenching at his sides. "It's an order, girls. We don't have a choice in the matter. And we can't ask you to wait for us. It wouldn't be fair to any of you."
"So that's it?" Musa's voice trembled as she stared at Riven, searching his face for any sign of hesitation. "You're just...leaving us?"
Helia reached for Flora's hand, but she pulled away, her green eyes filling with tears. "Flora, please understand. If there were another way-"
"There's always is," Flora whispered, her heart breaking.
Each couple stood on the edge of heartbreak, their love was being challenged in the cruelest way. The Specialist knew they were saying goodbye this way would hurt, but it was the only way to protect the girls.
"We love you," Timmy said, his voice cracking barely audible as Tecna wiped a single tear from her cheek. "But this is goodbye." Nabu said.
One by one, the Specialist turned and walked away, leaving the Winx standing in the courtyard, with their world shattering around them.
—————————————————————————
The days passed like a slow-moving storm, each more painful than the last. They hadn't come out their rooms since the day the Specialist left and they didn't let anyone see them. The Winx tried to carry on, but something inside them changed. Then, one by one, they discovered the impossible truth: they were pregnant. This sent a shockwave through their hearts. They were carrying the children of the men who had left them, the men they still loved. But with the Specialist gone and no way of knowing if they would return, the Winx made a heartbreaking decision. To leave the Magic Dimension.
Tecna was the first to suggest it. "We can't stay here. I mean think logically, we need a fresh start, somewhere away from the pain and memories."
"Yeah somewhere we can raise the children in peace."
"Earth," Stella murmured, staring up at the stars. "We could go to Earth. We'd be safe there. And no one would expect us to leave."
So one by one they agreed. With a final glance at the world they had fought so hard to protect, the Winx disappeared from the Magic Dimension, stepping through the portal to Earth. Leaving behind their past, their pain, and the men they loved.
Fifteen years would pass before fate brought them back together.
