Tori's P.O.V
Today we all took a break from training, I went with Wendy to the Library. We basically spent the whole day telling each other what we've been doing with our training. Natsu nearly destroyed half of the beach, Lauxus almost set the whole forest on fire, Gray froze the whole ocean, Gajeel made a tree shishkabob with his iron arm, Wendy even managed to create a twister. I found a way to combine other elemental magics with my music magic, and my physical strength has improved very much. It was late and me and Wendy were just leaving the library, I put my hood up because of the cold nip in the air. I noticed a man around the corner behind us, watching us. I grab Wendy's and whisper to her, "Look, it might just be coincidence. But I think someone's following us, stay close."
She look at me in fear but nods and we continue walking. A few minutes of walking and I can still see the man out of the corner of my eye, he was definitely following us. We continue walking and I pick up some footsteps and talking with my dragon hearing, "There she is, let's go." The footsteps start getting closer. I gently pull Wendy and walk a little faster, I hear footsteps right behind us, "Hey! Where're you goin'?" One of the men say.
With a quick glance over my shoulder, there were 3 men, I grab Wendy's hand and start to run. If it were just me, I would've taken them out instantly, but Wendy is here so I HAVE to make sure that she's safe first or Carla's gonna give me an earfull.
I continue to run with Wendy, we turn a corner to come face to face, or more accurately, face to chest with one of the men. I turn and drag Wendy behind me, we run and run till we come to a fenced off area... Dead end.
Before the men get here, I drag Wendy to a corner and stack a few boxes in front of her so she is hidden, "Stay here until I say, and keep quiet."
Once she's fully hidden, the three men show up. They surround me, starring intently, I remove my hood and look at the one to my left, then to my right, "You've got me. Now, what do you want?" I ask.
"You're one of the Grim Dragon twins aren't you? Our boss sent us to fetch you." One of them said.
My breath hitched in my throat as I heard my previous title, I decided to play innocent, "The Grim Dragon twins died 6 years ago! They were killed by a mage from fairy tail!" I say, my voice shaking with fake fear.
"So they say. But we know better, we know who you really are. Victoria Alenne Grim daughter of Musa, sister of Vicky Dianna Grim, daughter of Acknologia."
"I don't know what you're talking about! My name is Tori Dreyar, I'm the sister of Lauxus Dreyar and the granddaughter of Makorov, master of Fairy Tail."
"Makorov doesn't have a granddaughter."
"Well you're looking her!"
"If you're really the sister of Lauxus, the lightning dragon slayer, show us some magic"
"I will gladly do so."
I'm only gonna say this one time, thank you Lauxus for electrocuting me 5 years ago! Electricity surrounds me and my hair flies around me, "Now!" One of the men yell.
The man behind me suddenly grabs me and straps something around my neck preventing me from using any magic. How did he not get electrocuted? Whatever, looks like I have to fight them the old fashion way.(The vid, stop at 1:40)
The biggest guy kicks me in the stomach I scream and I cough up blood, I'm breathing hard and my lungs are burning. It felt like I was breathing in acid, if only I didn't have this stupid restraint around my neck, I would've whipped their sorry asses by now! They're not even wizards!
One of the men grab the collar of my shirt and raises me up so my feet don't touch the ground, "You sure as hell aren't Lauxus's sister, you look nothing like the bastard."
The men behind him get electrocuted, only I wasn't the cause of it, "What do you think You're doing with my girl?" A familiar voice says.
"N-no way." The man holding me says in disbelief.
My eyes widen as I realized who it was, "L-Lauxus." I manage to choke out.
Lauxus sighs and shakes his head, "Honestly Tori, why did you say you were my sister?" He asks.
I laugh dryly, "I figured it might sound more threatening. Apparently it didn't help."
"I knew you weren't related to the bastard." The man says throwing me on the ground close to where Wendy was hiding. I hear her quiet sobs, "T-tori." She whispers.
I put a finger to my lips, signalling her to be quiet. "Yeah, she isn't related to me. She's my girl, and you're gonna die for what you did to her." Lauxus says, his voice filled with venom.
'Note to self, smack Lauxus later for calling me his.'
It didn't even take a minute and the man was out, Lauxus walks over to me and gently picks me up bridal style. "Tori!" I hear Wendy yell, coming out from her hiding place.
She uses her healing magic on me, making me feel a bit better. The three of us start walking back to our camp site, Lauxus still carrying me, we suddenly hear one of the men that he electrocuted earlier rasp out, "You're too late. It's already begun."
My eyes suddenly grew wide, I yelp as I feel as though something was pushing it's way out of my heart
"Tori! Are you ok?" Wendy asks.
"I'm fine, let's just go." I say, my voice hoarse.
Lauxus electrocutes the man one more time before walking back to the camp site
......... The barrier.... It's cracking.... No.... I can't let her get through.... I won't let her....
