He looks so princely.

Win has been staring at Bright for about five long minutes now. He thought he might be needing an intervention to what's been happening to him. With Bright around, Win can rarely control himself. He would always be placed in a dreamy state: scanning Bright's whole body and then dreaming about his face near his. He figured this is no longer normal. Win is without any doubt, slowly and deeply falling in love with him. That may be fast, considering the length of time he's been observing Bright. But he honestly doesn't know how to put a name to what he feels. Every moment he gets to spend with Bright is an absolute delight for him.

Princely. Ethereal. Handsome. Clean. Gorgeous. Hunky. All of these, name it, and he would most likely have used in describing Bright. His friend, Claire, would always tell him: "Win, there's no such man of perfection. You are dreaming. One way or another, he has flaws. Wait, till you get to meet him."

Win is ready for that. Flaws and all, he's willing to take Bright for who he is.

Since he met Bright this morning on his unit's balcony, in his mind, he immediately orchestrated a plan to be close to him. Get to know him, and eventually make Bright fall in love with him.

If Claire will hear his thoughts, Win will receive a nudge on the head coupled with at least half an hour of lectures. His friend knows that when he falls in love, he's always willing to give up everything that he has. She's been a witness to most of his relationships. From being cheated on to being a kept man (without knowing he's one), Win has experienced it all. His past five relationships may be written down as one word: FAILURE.

"Win... Win? Win!" Bright exclaimed.

"Huh?" Win answered.

"I said, we're done. You may go. We'll resume hearing the client's feedback by tomorrow morning." Bright explained.

"Oh. Okay. Ahm.. Would you like to grab some drinks?" Win took advantage of the opportunity to spend longer time with Bright. "My treat," he added then smiled.

"Rich kid? You haven't even been paid, yet you're starting to spend money for a random drink?" Bright said those words with a little disbelief and wonder. This didn't affect Win in any way though.

"I just figured, we got tired? And maybe a couple of drinks will somehow destress us?" Win said.

"No. Both of you enjoy yourselves. I'm heading home." Bright's words were with finality.

"I have to decline, too, Win. I need to run some errands." First said with an apologetic tone.

"Oh. That's okay. I'll just head home, too." Win took back his words, feeling a little disappointed.

Win started putting his MacBook back in his bag. As he was doing this, he continuously observed Bright while the latter was also fixing his things.

"Bye." First said his goodbye.

Win stepped near Bright and cleared his throat to indicate he wanted to talk. Bright placed his eyes on Win, then said: "What?" Bright's tone of voice never runs out of indifference, Win thought.

"Ahm...," Win answered with much hesitation. He's trying to overcome his fear of rejection. It feels like his heart is being gripped tightly because of too much nervousness. He's always confident, but never with Bright.

"Say it," Bright commanded. His brows draw themselves together. Is he mad? Win asked himself.

"Ah, since we live in the same place, can I go home with you?" Win bravely inquired. He's close to losing his heart. He never tried anything like this before. He's always been the submissive type and mostly would be wooed by those who like him.
